After two weeks of isolation,Mr.Norman returns to the safe house to pick them up to continue their lives.
During those two weeks Mr.Norman was able to clear out the case of the Black Diamond from the memory of the public,of which he told them that,there was no truth in its myth and that everything has been resolved.
A replica of the Black Diamond such that there would be no questions about it's whereabouts with the real one still attached to Reece's chest. Reece within the two days learnt how to use the power of the diamond and noticed that the power of the Diamond had limits. He could only see into the near future and also he couldn't see everything at once.
During his training, he took notes of certain incidents that would happen and informed Mr.Norman about them such that they would be able to act quickly.
Samuel and Reece returned back to the NIA as George and Dr.Manuel both returned to school with strict supervision from agents of the NIA to keep them safe and protected.
When Reece and Samuel returned to the NIA, They were given a warm welcome back to work as the other agents congratulated them for their prowess concerning the case of the black diamond.Reece noticed that the curse of the diamond had began to take effect. All the female agents, avoided him and didn't want to talk to him because in their sight, they saw him as a hideous man. Even Elizabeth, who was close to him, had no interest in talking to him. He felt really bad within but Samuel encouraged him and said"It's for the good of all mankind my friend, you must learn to endure it as well, I'm still here for you brother."
They went to their offices and resumed work. Whiles Reece was seated in his office,he had a call from Mr.Norman telling him that there was a crime scene which had to be investigated and that Reece was going to be needed. Reece called Samuel and they moved downstairs to meet Mr.Norman ,and they moved to the crime scene.
When they got there, two men had been killed and were wrapped in body bags and the question they asked them selves was "What happened?"
The incident had happened at dawn when there was no one around so no one could give them any clear information on what happened,all they could do was stare and ask questions.Reece went closer and touched the one of the bodies and said to himself"I think it's about time to use the power." He said silently without anyone hearing as he placed his had on his chest"Diamond!! Reveal!!" The Diamond glowed and he saw everything that happened.
He said,"These two are business partners,Fred Boner and Lee Hanson both the heads of GridPower Company. They agreed to meet at this point to settle their differences concerning their company but both had it in mind to kill each other to take over the company. They both hired snipers who shot them dead on the spot." The forensic scientists came to confirm their identities just as Reece had stated.
Everyone was amazed by how he was able to come up with such an explanation with the exception of Mr.Norman and Samuel who of course knew he was using the power of the Diamond which was the main reason he was brought along in the first place. Reece was able to determine the identities of both snipers and led the NIA to them and arrested them without wasting time to go back and find a solution. After their investigations, they confirmed that all Reece said was true without a doubt.
The media came by and asked him,"Agent Blay,how were you able to know all this by just looking at their bodies?" In response he said"It's just a lucky guess" with a smile on his face.
In no time,Reece gained promotion and was now in charge of writing reports on crime scenes and cracking cases as well but upon all that recognition,he found it difficult to look appealing to women and Elizabeth, ever since he gained the power pretended as if she never knew him. He knew that the outcasts would stop at nothing to retrieve the Diamond so he told his team to be wary of them and their actions as he always looked into the future in order to keep them safe and save them from incidents that were going to harm them. George and Dr.Manuel were under strict supervision from the NIA and were also restricted from using smartphones to avoid the outcasts from tracking them.With the power Reece had, he still found it difficult to reveal the location of the outcasts.The diamond didn't respond anytime he asked it to reveal their location and this got him really worried.
