Back to Abraham's Family

William now understood why Camille's demeanor was so different from the one he had met the first time. It wasn't Camille he had been looking for, but Daphne. His cell phone ringing stopped his activities. From his wife. William did not think long to immediately pick up the phone from Camille.

“Where are you now, huh? All the family is waiting for your presence. Never try to act William!” Camille's words were full of yelling and anger. After that the woman turned off the phone without William being able to explain something.

William exhaled. He immediately went to Abraham's family home following his wife's orders. He also wanted to make sure even more.

"Hey illegitimate child, you have no right to set foot in this house. You don't even have the right to call me your cousin." A boy who looked like he was seven years old was insulting a five year old girl.

"Why are you so mean to me? My mom says we are a family.”

"No! I don't want to admit you as my family. Quickly get out of my sight! My father said your mother was a bad girl. You also don't have a father whose origin is clear. You're disgusting." not forgetting he pushed the little girl away.

William who saw this was surprised. “Hey, are you always that rude to girls?” he asked. William approached the two child. He looked at the little girl who was pushed earlier. She was Daphne's little daughter whose photo William had looked at. His chest was rumbling very loudly. He has a lot in common with her. William seems to see himself in a feminine form.

William crouched down to his height to help the little girl up. "What's your name little girl?" asked William just to be sure.

“Zeva. My name is Zeva.”

William nodded his head. He stood up again. This time he looked at Sam, the little boy who had pushed his daughter. Sam is the son of Damien. "I want you to apologize to him!" William firmly protects his daughter.

Sam snorted a little disdainfully at him. “Do you think you can control me? You have no right to be rude to me. My parents say you are nothing but trash in this house.”

“Damn it! How could such a small child speak so rudely? Have you never been taught manners?”

Sam nodded his head. "Of course. I was also taught how to act towards that scum and illegitimate child.”

Plaque! "Never insult him again!" William slaps Sam even though he only uses a little of his strength but manages to cause Sam great pain. William wanted to teach the boy a lesson. anyone can insult him but he doesn't let anyone insult his daughter.

"Did you just slap me?" Sam held his sore cheek.

"I could even slap you again if you're still being impudent."

Sam was crying. "I will report you to my father. I'm sure you'll get into trouble with him."

William snorted a little while sneering. “Let do it! I'm not afraid and let's see what I can do for your father.” Sam immediately ran into the house. William was sure that the little boy really carried out his threat.

William didn't care. He knelt down again looking at Zeva. Oh! His daughter is so beautiful with her clear eyes and the innocence typical of a child. "You don't need to be afraid. From today I will protect you. Sam won't insult you anymore, if he still does you just report it to me and I will teach him a lesson that will deter him."

Zeva nodded her head. “Thank you good uncle. but why are you helping me? You were the first person to help me apart from my grandparents and my mom.”

William was touched. Abraham's family had always been that arrogant. They always bullied the weak. "Because I'm a good uncle." William smiled a little which made Zeva also smile with his words.

“You are beautiful when you smile little princess. Let's go inside. Let's go meet all the big families.” William carried Zeva easily in one hand.

"what if grandma and the others kick me out?" Zeva asked doubtfully.

“Then I too will defend you again.”

"You are really very good uncle. Not like my bad father.” Zeva grumbled at the end of his sentence showing a hint of hatred.

William frowned. "Why do you talk like that, princess?"

Zeva played with her lips in a pout. “Because he left me and my mother. My grandmother said that it was my father who made us suffer like this. He just disappeared. He's not a man in charge. I hate it."

William was touched by his feelings when he heard his daughter's words. “Princess, you must know that your father is not a bad man. He never meant to disappear from you and your mother let alone leave you. He has urgent matters that prevent him from staying with your mother any longer. You know, he tries to meet your mother every day. Parting with your mother was not easy for her.”

Zeva frowned. "Did you know my father?"

William nodded his head. "I know your father well. You can trust me he's not a bad guy."

Zeva played with his lips. "Then why isn't he back yet? What business prevented him from seeing me and my mother? Why didn't he give any news? Is he that busy?” Zeva peppered William with a lot of questions.

William hesitated for a few moments. He didn't expect to get such a question from his daughter. He didn't know how to explain either. "Zeva, one day he will definitely come back and explain everything to you."

"When?" Zeva's eyes were impatient.

"After he finished all his business. After he dared to kneel before you and your mother to admit all his mistakes.

Zeva nodded her head. “If you meet him you should tell him to sort things out as soon as possible. I want to meet him as soon as possible.”

William smiled a little. "Did you miss your father that much?"

"No!" Zeva shook her head firmly which made William stop his smile. Now the man frowned in confusion. “I want to punish him. I want to curse him because he has made my mother often cry and suffer because of what she did."

William's chest ached even more but at the same time he also felt increasingly convinced that Zeva was his biological daughter. She not only had William's looks but also that man's character. Zeva looks very determined to punish her father.

“Hey damn! Basic ignorance. Why did you slap my son? Are you tired of living huh?” Damien came out of Abraham's house looking at William with an angry face.

William had been waiting for this. before he beat Damien, he let Zeva down first from his arms. "Little girl, can you see your mother first?"

Zeva nodded her head. "I will tell my mother that there are good people who help me."

William nodded his head. He gave Zeva away. Next he challenged Damien's eyes fearlessly. “Your son not only insulted me but he also insulted Zeva. He should be taught a lesson in manners.”

Damien sneered. “You deserve to be insulted, that little girl too. You are as trash in this house. A disgusting pest.”

"shut up!" William threw one punch at Damien. William's hard punch managed to knock Damien down. Not only that, William also grabbed Damien's collar and then threw him in front of everyone who was in Abraham's house.

"What did you just do, William?" her mother-in-law was so shocked.
