The beautiful blue sky had without warning turned gravel-grey. The sky had turned dark as large clouds covered it. The rain and began to fall and it landed on the startled figure

Her clothes were soaked and had stuck to her body, she blinked several times as if not sure of what she was seeing

Although stunned at the sudden appearance of Martha who was cladded in a tattered black cloak, Harmony gazed at Martha with a smile as she took the cloak down

She saw an uncertain emotion run through her eyes that she couldn't quite define

"Martha, I'm-"

"I'm sorry child" Martha said, her eyes closed for a brief second and when she opened them, Harmony was beyond shocked at what she saw

Martha eyes had all of a sudden become a totally different colour, her irises had turned into a deep-seated yellow and her pupil were slit shaped. Her skin became dark and wrinkled as her face twisted in a weird way. Her face looked ugly, disfigured and repulsive, her mouth was chapped and her tongue slipped out
