Chapter Ninety Seven

Once everyone in the court was settled back down, the judge immediately rushed out of his seat to meet the bald man halfway, with his head bowed so low that it was clear to everybody that whoever this new figure was, he was going to be a man of high power. The bald man accompanied by the judge was moved to a private section of the court, where he got a better view of the courthouse.

“Sir, I apologize for not noticing you sooner or you would have announced you sooner, sir,” the judge said with his head still bowed in reference. The hair at the back of his neck was standing straight in alert and a bead of sweat trailed down his forehead to the side of his face.

The bald man nodded as he continued to take in the view of the court.

The judge cleared his throat in an attempt to get the man's attention, “Uhh sir, why didn't you tell me about you visiting sir? I would have prepared specially for your coming.”
