It was his father, Mr Cole.

“Hey dad, can- ” Brian was about to whine about everything that had happened at Stakefield, when Mr Cole’s sudden furious roar interrupted Brian. Brian’s heart skipped upon hearing his father.

He had initially put the call on speaker so everyone would hear his father’s rage when he reports all of them and how they’ve treated him, to his father.

“You bastard!” Brian’s father shouted. “What have you done?!! Why does Stakefield want to terminate all projects with us?? Who did you offend, you stupid child?!”

Amelia’s eyes immediately shot open. ‘Damn!’
