‘God please do something!!’

Delilah’s breath came in shorter ragged grasps as the seconds passed. She couldn’t hold it in anymore, she needed to scream or else she might explode.

Now, she didn’t care anymore. She was going to let it all out.

She took in a long inhale and suddenly, the grand double doors burst open! Everyone’s gaze shot at the door and it was Cooper!

Cooper was finally here!

“He’s here!” she muttered, her eyebrows shot upward. “He’s here!” she repeated, a wave of relief instantly washing over here. She kept repeating the phrase so she could actually believe it.

Cooper was not going to abandon her on the altar after all.

Delilah took a deep, steadying breath, feeling the tension slowly drain from her body as she began to regain her composure. Though the fear and anxiety still lingered in her mind, Cooper was here and that was enough to bring her a sense of peace.
