Ch. 05: A Marriage Contract.

"What's all of this supposed to mean?" Ethan asked, clearly dumbfounded and surprised at what he was seeing from the documents.

"Is it not clear enough?" Kelly asked in a soft tone that still came off as very intimidating. "Please don't tell me I made a wrong choice in choosing you." Her words sounded like a joke as much as they were serious.

"I mean it is clear, but why?" He asked, unable to hide the surprise glued to his face.

Kelly sighed once more. "What you're seeing there, my dear future husband, is a contract. A marriage contract. And as you have read, you will be paid handsomely for it. About a hundred thousand dollars per month just so you fulfill your roll as husband in my life. Do you understand it now?"

Ethan was speechless. What word would he have said to actually explain what he felt. It seemed far better to keep a mouth shut so it doesn't say anything that was not quite able to capture the moment.

"As expected," she continued speaking. "I knew you'd be speechless. I know you're probably asking yourself right now, 'why is a beautiful woman like this paying me to be her husband?' I assure you, you will get your answers, but just not now. Anyway, during the length of this contract and when it is needed, I would want a child. A son at first, and I will pay you five million dollars for it. After that I will want a daughter. For that I will pay you three million dollars."

He kept reading through the document as she spoke. It all seemed like a movie to him, scanning through the words. He was about opening to the last page.

"Don't read that part," she immediately said, almost nervously. "That part is not for you.”

She caught his stare at her immediately, his suspicions immediately grew wings.

Before he could make words out of the thoughts he was having she said again, "It's not for you. It's not at all that important. You shouldn't worry about that part all too much."

"Interesting," he said. "The more you tell me about why that part is not for you, the more I want to read it. Isn't that funny?"

"No, it's not funny," she replied sternly, looking into his eyes. “Because I am not joking. All will be revealed to you in due time if you just sign the documents, I assure you on that."

He knew there was something fishy going on that she did not want him to know or see. But this, when compared to the things he would gain from it, including the money and everything, he waved it off as irrelevant.

She gave him a pen and once again he felt his hands shake, as he held it, about to press it into paper.

"What's wrong? Are you afraid of me, Ethan?" She asked, her eyes staring in a seductive manner.

"No. Why would I be?" His hands were still shaking, something within him still felt it’s a bad idea signing the paper without checking what was written at the other end of it.

"Good. Because you will be seeing a whole lot of me, you know. And I mean a whole lot of me. I am going to be your wife after all." She bit her lower lip and winked at him. All of a sudden, he immediately caught a fever. A certain hotness ran through his chest.

Was she trying to seduce him now? He thought. At that time he was already signing the document. "No going back now, I'm afraid."

"Yes. No going back now." She took the documents from his hands and put them back where she had taken them from. "You are free to go now."

He stood up and walked towards the door, thinking about it almost seemed like he had sold his soul to the devil. Well not the devil. A demoness. A rather eye-catching demoness.

"And wait, before you go, I want you to know this so you don't get shocked afterwards." She called him back as he was about to reach the door. "I am a sex addict. Do with this information, what you must.”
