In front of the large TV screen, the woman slowly wiped her tears as she stared at the boy who was being applauded on TV.

The only source of light in the room was the light rays coming from the television screen.

The woman shook beneath her garments, tears streaming down her face, even though she was covered in a cloth.

“Are you shedding tears?”

As she heard the voice, she wiped the tears off her face, her eyes turning cold like she was not the one crying some seconds ago.

She got up to go into the other room after unwrapping herself from the blanket.

“You remain as stubborn as a mule, even after years have passed. When will you come to the realization that there is no going back? I have already triumphed.” The man who had just arrived spoke coldly, his voice full of mockery and sarcasm.

The woman stopped in her tracks, her trembling hands beside her. “Don't be too sure of yourself.”
