The Real Flames Part 3

Kevin flew at a great speed, spinning round and round around Lock. He knew the sword techniques Lock used and knew how to avoid them. Thanks to it, he tried to do everything he can to make an opening and finally succeeded. Lock was not focusing on Dawn anymore.

' Fire Now!' Kevin send a message.

' I Know!' It was clear that Dawn was also panicked. He had condensed a death bullet in his hand and fired it at his chest near the heart.

It looked like the bullet would hit Lock on the back and will destroy the fire crystal in his body. However, the bullet was not able to pierce his body, leaving both Kevin and Dawn in a big shock. Instead of a bullet piercing him it made him fall five-meter away.

The lock had taken damage but was easily able to get back up. He spits the soil that went into his mouth because of the fall and then pointed his sword at Dawn who was quickly condensing one more bullet.

' Damn it we lost our chance! Why was that bullet so weak.'

' Your friend was strong, I adjusted the size so it does not create a large hole but his body is trained with internal energy. There is no way we can stop him without killing him, which is not an option. Let's just try to restrain him for now, I will aim for his working leg.'

Dawn fired one more, and before it could hit the leg it was blocked by the sword Lock was holding.

' This guy is too strong.'

' Can I not talk to him?' Kevin said.

' You can but if he allows me to touch him. I don't think he would believe me even then.'

' You are physically strong, right? Try to fight him in close range then.' Kevin gave his advice. ' But I don't get cut by his sword.'

Meanwhile, Lock who has been fighting the two was thinking the same thing, he knew the attacks by that boy were strong. He was only afraid of one thing that was the Ball of fire.

His hands and sword were covered in flames, and each time he swung his sword. The slash would leave a mark on the ground burning the nearby trees. Thankfully the three kids had retreated to get help from others in their group.

Lock was going all out with his sword techniques, he gave no opening to Dawn even once after falling to the ground. His sword made terrifying sounds and created rings of flame in the open space, every time he swung it.

Dawn finally decided to attack a close range, his physical strength was great, he had proven it when he trained others. Despite being a child he can lift heavier weights and run faster than the rest.

He closed the distance and tried to punch him on the right side of his ribs where he had a prosthetic hand. Dawn moved swiftly and attacked him with all his might, Lock couldn't keep up with his movements and was hit into the ribs and pushed back.

' Your technique is great, but that still didn't do any damage to him.' Kevin spoke to Dawn.

' I know, I am just going to keep doing it.' Dawn spoke.

' This is not an easy fight, I will need to get rid of this kid fast.' Lock suppressed the feeling of pain, biting his lips he once again moved and slashed his sword toward Dawn sending a flame slash towards him.

Dawn jumped to dodge it but soon another slash similar to it came toward him. Lock continuously used the same attack for a few seconds until Kevin once again started to bother him.

" Argh!" Lock screamed in pain, as an Arrow came out of nowhere and pierced his shoulder.
