Chapter 26

Arthur won the first time, just as he had predicted. A good three million dollars. Extremely low compared to what he'd been making before but a good start. He won again the next time. He had done this for so long and had become so familiar with the pattern.

Actually the secret method to winning the game had been changed slightly but Arthur had been playing it for long enough that he could find out the new pattern by simply watching from the sides as other players won and lost. His winning streak continued. He was almost at fifty million dollars but he knew that he could get much more than that so he tried again. And he lost.
