Chapter 72

Scott had accompanied his boss to see his daughter, Nancy, to know how she was coping. But Scott waited in the car on Mr. Andrew’s order, as he wanted to have a private discussion with his daughter. As soon as Mr. Andrew got to her daughter's apartment to see Nancy, she sat down on one side of the sofa with a sour expression on her face. For the past few days, the gap between them has been like a difference between the earth and the sky.

With a long face, Nancy said, “Welcome, Dad.” Then she took her face away.

“My love, I know you are still mad at me; please forgive me.” Mr. Andrew can never go out of style when it has to do with calling her daughter pet names.
