Chapter 6

On the way back to the palace, I took an eggplant from the merchant's stall and showed it to Caroline.

"Look at Caroline, and this purple eggplant is huge."

"Stop it... don't show it to me; I don't like eggplant, they are very long, and it looks very perverted."

"You can touch it; let's touch it."

"Don't come near me.... stop."

I chased after Caroline from behind while the residents looked at me with eyes like a dead fish and said the same thing.

"What kind of game is this?"

"Well, Olivia, quickly turn yourself into a human; you might like these vegetables."

"I don't want to."

I think it's enough to repay their previous treatment, and now I'm satisfied.

We entered the palace residence and then headed for the top tower, which was used as a prison. It locked the door, so I broke it quickly, and the first thing I saw was a girl with long blue hair sitting on the bed, her big round eyes filled with a sad look, although, to be honest, there was a beautiful charm behind them, her slender body draped in a white lacy dress and a crown on top. Her head, so I can assume she is indeed from the royal family.

"Don't come near me." She pulled the blanket over herself. Caroline moved forward, and she sniffed her body.

"Thank God, she's still a virgin."

I don't know how Caroline did it, and maybe it's a unique ability that vampires have. I glanced at the table near the window, and some fruits were untouched.

No wonder this girl's body was thin; she didn't try to eat it. I took one fruit and put it in my mouth while sitting on her chair; Olivia changed herself into her elf form and then sat on my lap while bearing the same fruit.

"Sit somewhere else over there."

"My ass can hurt if I sit on the floor, and it's better if you take off your mask, this girl might be scared."

I was annoyed that she said the right thing; I took off my mask and put it on the table.

"Hmm, who are you?"

"Don't worry, young girl, and we just defeated the demon that took over this city, and now you are free."

The girl was crying.

"Does your stomach hurt?" asked Caroline.

"No, I'm delighted... thank you very much."

"Then where are the king and queen?" at my question, the girl shook her head a few times

Olivia grabbed my collar. "You shouldn't have asked that. She'll be sad later."

"Sorry."

"It's okay; I'm fine."

"My name is Zack Draven, this evil girl is Olivia, and the person near you is Caroline. We are adventurers."

"I'm Elena."

"She's so cute."

"I thought so, too," I replied to Olivia.

I asked Elena to explain what happened, and it was pretty shocking; not only had the guards been annihilated, but they had also killed the king and queen in front of her daughter.

Originally this princess was to be handed over to the Demon Lord of the North thank goodness we weren't too late; considering the dire situation in this kingdom, we couldn't possibly leave Elena alone.

I asked Caroline to continue with this princess while Olivia and I, in her sword form, would gather some people who wanted to protect this city; after putting on my mask again, I stood in front of all the residents of the capital, who were both happy and worried.

Previously, they were made as forced labourers or enslaved people, but now they are free.

"It's not like he saved us all."

"Right, we saw it too."

"Calm down, all of you; my name is Zack Draven. As you said, I have saved this capital, but all these things are an order from Princess Elena that I serve. Princess Elena intends to take her kingdom back; anyone who wants to fight, please come forward and join the army; the knights are just about to be named the liberation squad.

Silence fell between us all. They all whispered to each other.

"Do you want to let this country crumble like this? Those demons have taken your right to live, killed your family and even desecrated your children... now is the time for us to avenge them for our future."

One of the women raised her hand, with long red hair and ruby-red eyes filled with determination. She raised a sword with both hands at chest level, signifying an attitude of devoting himself and giving his life to this kingdom.

"My name is Nova... I want to join."

She is the woman I previously saved.

That night on top of a tall building, under the full moon, I took off my mask while Olivia beside me was enjoying fish bread in her elf form.

Her face looked happy.

"Are you sure you want to help this country, even though we only came to take my power? After that, the problem here is no longer our responsibility."

"You cruel bastard wants me to let this country fall apart."

"Did you forget I am the Evil Goddess? Helping and saving someone is not my style?"

That is true. Even though Olivia's appearance is beautiful and charming so that it can trap anyone who sees it, what's inside is still rotten. She summoned me to this world solely for me to be his bodyguard, nothing more or less. That has always fooled me.

"Let's just say I want to do some good once in a while," at my statement, Olivia laughed. This guy sucks.

The following day, I gathered a few people who wanted to participate in helping the water nation on the training ground; only about twenty people obviously wouldn't change anything.

I quietly whispered to Olivia, "Well, can you do something to them? I've never taught anything like swinging a sword?"

Or, to be honest, I'm also an amateur. "It's your fault; at least get someone smart to do it."

I can imagine Olivia's face holding back her laughter, my original goal for this country was to give them hope, but it would not be accessible if everything started from scratch.

Soon Elena and Caroline appeared. Elena was not wearing a dress but a knight outfit consisting of an all-white outfit.

"I've studied swords before and can teach them a little bit of my knowledge."

She must be an angel; I helped. When

While Elena was teaching everything, my group went to a mountain where a dragon lived, and this dragon had a hobby of collecting various objects made of gold. Because of him, the entire region did not use gold coins as payment.

Olivia was complaining about something even though she was just a sword. "So tired, we shouldn't have come here."

"Stop talking like that; after all, I'm the only one walking around here."

As for Caroline, she was floating with an umbrella in her hand. "You guys are getting to know each other more and more."

"Who can get along with her."

"I also think the same, and Zack is just my guardian, nothing more and nothing less."

How long will he continue to insist on that? I cut. "You didn't even pay me for that."

"Not many people can come into this world, so be grateful."

What to be grateful for because of her actions, I was involved in such a troublesome thing. I would be thankful if the one who called me were a benevolent Goddess who asked me to save this world, but it's the other way around.

Not only is the Goddess evil, but her words are harsh, and there is no sweetness; I'm not sure I will have a romantic story with her. Let that aside when we get to the top of the gold pile all over the place.

I could see gold swords, golden goblets and things that smelled of gold, too; even if there were gold coins, there would be many of them.

"It's amazing that I can save this much water country so easily."

Caroline said it was correct, but the problem was a giant dragon sleeping there. Caroline flew closer first.

"What are you doing?"

"Stealing is not good; let's ask if we can ask for some of this gold?"

It's over, and she's too innocent. Caroline tapped the black dragon's nose until its body lifted upwards, and its bright red eyes watched Caroline closely.

"Yo, lord dragon, can we ask for some of the treasures of your gold?"

The dragon tilted its head for a moment, and what it did next sent out its fire breath.
