A soldier entered the chamber, a modest but functional space where decisions were made.

"Mayor Hans, Sir". He said, standing at attention with a salute.

"What is it, Jake?". The mayor, a man in his mid-fifties, sat in a large wooden chair by the window, his gaze shifting from a document in front of him.

"Noah has a guest". Jake informed him.

"A guest?". Hans turned to face him fully, his interest piqued.

"Yes. Her face was hidden, but I'm fairly certain it's a woman. He took her to his home".

"Noah took a woman home? That's a first". Hans chuckled, leaning back in his chair.

"I don’t think she’s a lover or anything like that, sir. Noah was acting... suspiciously". Jake said, his tone more serious.

Hans rubbed his chin thoughtfully. "Hmm. Interesting. Keep an eye on him".

"As you wish". Jake replied before turning to leave.

Noah began to explain everything to Luna about how he knows her father.

"My father was attacked by the Felgroths in the Forests of Eldoria and your father saved his life. But when he was finished fighting with them, my father was already so injured. He had to be taken to the infirmary or else he would've died. It was impossible for my father to survive till they reached the infirmary so Salvador Fireheart used his angelic powers to heal him. He saved his life twice, My Lady. He is our benefactor". Noah smiled. "Till the day my father lived, he remembered him in good words. He used to visit us every summer and brought gifts for me and my younger sister. I eagerly waited for him to arrive because he used to give me a ride over his back. I had seen The Defender each time he came. I recognized the sword beside you and immediately thought of him. That's why, I took you here with me. I wanted to return the favor". He then grew sad. "Then he committed some sin and they exiled him to Abyssia. I never saw him again".

Luna listened to him attentively. "I promise, whenever I meet my Father, I'll tell him about you".

"You will?". Noah's eyes lit up.

"Yes". She smiled.

He grinned and looked at her thankfully. "Tell him I miss him".

"I will". Luna replied.

"By the way, why are you here? All alone? You don't have a Realmwalker, you can get killed by walking through the passages like this".

"I'm compelled". She said sadly.

Noah seemed to understand that there was something more. "I think you should take some rest, My Lady". He said and stood up. "Would you like to have some tea?".

"T-tea?". Luna said confusingly.

"Terrania's special drink". Noah replied. "Like Luminara has Milk, Abyssia has Wine and Eldoria has Juices. But Tea is served hot".

"Oh". Luna nodded. "Sure".

He smiled and turned around. "I'll make you some".

Noah placed a clay cup in front of Luna.

"It's hot, be careful". He told.

Luna gave a nod. "It smells good".

"Tastes even better". He replied with a smile.

"Tell me about yourself, Noah".

"I am just a nobody". Noah shrugged. "But this nobody is capable of a few things".

Luna arched her eyebrow. "What things?".

"Stealing from the rich and giving to the poor. I'm the bad man here, My Lady, In the eyes of the rich people of Terrania".

Luna gave a nod. "I've heard about all the injustice in Terrania".

"Hmm". Noah gave a nod, sipping his tea. "More than half of the people living here are downtrodden. It hurts me to see them like this. I've spent a life of poverty and hunger. I know how it feels to be deprived of everything. Poor people here pay to afford water and the rich enjoy everything for free".

"So, you steal from them?".

"Yes". Noah gave a nod. "I've been to prison for a couple of times now and the Mayor has been watching my every step again since this month started. I know what I do seems kind of wrong but all I care about is Terrania's poor people".

Luna smiled. "I can understand".

Noah looked up at her. "Would you like a tour?".

"Tour of Terrania?". Luna asked. Her eyes lit up.

"Yes, I would love to show you around".

"Sure, why not". She replied.

Noah grinned ear to ear. "Great! Honestly, It's so good to see you here, My Lady. I see Angel Salvador in you".

As they were talking, Noah noticed a silhouette outside the window. Like someone was listening.

He got up slowly and shoved the worn out curtain away but whoever was there, had already ran away. Noah waved off the thought and looked back at Luna. "Your father used to share stories of other realms with me. He made me fond of gaining knowledge. The wisdom I have today is a gift from him....".

They kept on talking until the sunset.

Luna and Noah were talking to each other, preparing food for the dinner when someone knocked on the door. "Coming". He said and moved towards the door. Luna watched him open the door.

A soldier, dressed in the Terranian Uniform, carrying a sword entered the house. He was panting. "Quick, you have to leave!". He said in a low voice, looking back and making sure there was no one outside. He closed the door.

"What happened?". Noah asked.

"Mayor Hans knows that you have Salvador's daughter here. He sent his men to take her and arrest you. They'll be here soon". He told.

"I'm not afraid of him". Noah chuckled. "He does that every now and then".

"You can escape the prison but you have to do something about Luna". The soldier looked at Luna. "Evening, My Lady. Welcome but you're not safe. You have to leave, NOW!".

Luna stood up to look at both men.

"My Lady, this is John, my friend". Noah introduced.

"Pleasure to meet you, John. Is everything ok?". Luna asked innocently.

"I don't know. Nothing's ok about Noah ever". John glared at Noah. "Mayor thinks that Noah brought you here for some ulterior motives. He has released arrest warrants for him and he's gonna take you captive too".

"Me being here has nothing to do with Noah". She told.

"Tell Hans that". John replied. "Look, my Lady, I can take you back to Eldoria".

"I'm not going back. I can talk to The Mayor". Luna replied. "And even if I can't, I have to go to Mystoria".

"I can take you there".

As they were still talking, the door was thrown open and a few soldiers entered. John found enough time to hide in a corner. To the soldiers, there was only Noah and Luna in the house.

"You're under arrest, Noah Graves". They said and looked at Luna. "You're coming with us, Greywing".

The marketplace near the Terranian Border was packed, and everywhere people were discussing Luna Fireheart.Suddenly, the sound of a horse's neigh echoed from the passage. He pulled to a stop near the crowd, dismounted with a fluid grace, and scanned the onlookers."Has anyone seen Luna Fireheart?". He demanded, his voice cutting through the chatter like a blade.A ripple of excitement moved through the crowd. "It's the Elven Prince!". They whispered, eyes wide with awe and wariness. Some murmured their judgments under their breath.Elion scowled, clearly annoyed. "Ugh, humans and their incessant judging". He muttered, his tone dripping with disdain. "I request that you release Noah Graves". Elion stood at his place, looking at The Mayor's changed expressions."I'm afraid, that can't happen". "As far as I know, he took Luna home so you put him in prison. Now that the matter is resolved, you should release him". Elion said.Mayor shook his head. "He's accused of so many other things, My Prince. He steals from people-". "Not for himself". Elion arched his eyebrow. Hans clenched his jaws. "Terrania has its own rules and regulations. The three of them entered the prison building, which was far larger than it appeared from the outside. John led them through dimly lit corridors, skillfully evading suspicion and fooling the guards. Luna and Elion glanced around, taking in the sight of prisoners behind bars—some asleep, others sitting close to the iron bars, their hollow eyes staring into the void. After weaving through the maze of corridors, John came to a stop in front of a heavy iron door.“All of them behind bars, and Noah behind an iron door?”. Elion whispered, his tone edged with curiosity.“He always escapes”. John muttered, glancing back at them before approaching the guard stationed at the door.“Mayor Hans sent us”. John said, his voice shifting to a rough, authoritative tone. “Noah Graves has been granted a final wish before his execution. We’re here to record it”.The guard frowned, looking skeptical. “All three of you?”. he asked.“Do you have a problem with that?”. John snapped, his voice cold and impati

The next morning, the basement was quiet except for the soft sound of Noah's steady breathing as he slept. Elion stirred awake, stretching as he sat up. He glanced around, his gaze settling on Luna, who was sitting on the last stair. She was holding a scroll, her expression distant and a little sad as she read its contents.“Luna? My dear”. Elion called softly, his cheerful tone breaking the silence. “When did you wake up?”Luna looked up, startled out of her thoughts, but she managed a warm smile. “Elion... just a little while ago”. She replied, carefully tucking the scroll into her bag and placing it aside. “Did you sleep well?”.“Yes, very well”. He said, his grin widening. He stood and walked over to her, kneeling in front of her. His eyes softened as he gazed at her face. “You look beautiful”.Luna blinked, her cheeks flushing slightly. “What?”.“You’re beautiful”. "We have to stop the Dark King."Luna hesitated for a moment before nodding. "We set out tomorrow, okay?".Elion glanced at Noah, who still seemed unaware of their conversation. His clothes were just as bad—soaked through and ice-cold."Why is everything wet?! Did someone dump snow on me while I was sleeping? Was it you, Aldric?" He glared accusingly.Aldric, fastening his gear, barely looked up. "Why would I waste perfectly good snow on you?"Luna chuckled as she adjusted the straps on her boots. Aldric began. "The river to the east, the desert to the west, or the plains straight ahead. All of them eventually lead to the glaciers you spotted earlier, Elion. On the other side of those glaciers is the passage we need to cross."Noah tilted his head. "The plains are the most direct path. We wouldn’t have to veer east or west, just keep straight and circle to the foot of the glaciers.""True, but it’s the most dangerous option." Aldric countered.
