The phantom Of The Ferry [II]

"It's impossible for evil spirits or ghosts to really exists." Sebastian waved his arms disapprovingly at first, and then said expectantly, "However, I really want to go to a cliff to experience the scary atmosphere of a supposedly haunted house. I've already thought about it. The article will be themed 'Horror Journey'. It will be dedicated to writing about my thoughts after traveling to various legendary haunted places. It will definitely be very popular, don't you think?"

After saying that, he excitedly patted Garvin's shoulder with such force that he almost knocked Garvin, who was not short but slightly thinner than him, off his seat.

Garvin finally managed to stabilize his body's center of gravity and said angrily: "If you want to go there, fine, go ahead. But you'll have to go alone. I'm not ready to die!"

Considering his continuous unfortunate state for more than half a year, it would be good if the spirits didn't take the initiative to come to him. So for him to now take the initiative to look for the spirits, wasn't it like he didn't want to live long?

"Hm?" Sebastian narrowed his big eyes and looked at Garvin with a smile. "Are you that afraid?"

Garvin was too lazy to pay attention to him, and just drew a circle in his heart, cursing this guy to experience what he himself had been going through when it came to things unseen.

"Young man." The fisherman seemed to be a nice person. He didn't resent Sebastian for stealing the beauty's attention. After hearing their conversation, he immediately came over and advised him kindly, "Don't do this stupid thing. If you encounter something unclean there, it will be really bad for you, and you won't even have the time to regret it!"

Sebastian did not take his words seriously at all, and said nonchalantly: "Don't worry, Mister. To tell you the truth, I have never been to such a legendary haunted place before, and I have never encountered one, but I've never seen a ghost where others claimed to have seen them. So, either those ghosts are afraid of me and never dare to show up in front of me, or there are no ghosts in this world. Am I right, Garvin? Garvin, Garvin ?”

But poor Garvin had symptoms of seasickness again. His face was pale, his head was manifesting  beads of sweat, his stomach ached, and he no longer had the energy to respond to his friend's words. "No, I, I have to go to the restroom."

After saying these words, Garvin walked to the door of the cabin, opened the iron hatch, and ran towards the bathroom at the stern of the ferry. When he returned from the bathroom and was about to open the closed hatch and return to the cabin, he unintentionally glanced through the transparent glass at the top of the hatch and saw the fisherman just now still leaning on the stewardess.

However, at this time, there was another woman beside the fisherman. The woman was wearing a long floor-length white dress and had long black hair that covered her face like a waterfall. Behind the wall of her hair, shone a chilling otherworldly light. Her whole person was like a pale black and white ink painting stained with misty water, blurred in the dim light inside the cabin.

Although there was something frightening about what he was seeing, Garvin didn't think much about it, but lowered his head, opened the heavy iron hatch, and walked into the cabin. Then, an incredible scene happened.

In just a few seconds after he opened the door and entered the cabin, the woman in white who was standing next to the fisherman vanished into the thin air.

What on earth? Garvin blinked his eyes curiously, looked around, and found that there were only a few passengers in the cabin as before, but none of them was wearing white clothes. He walked to the service desk in disbelief and took a look inside to see if the woman in white had gone inside the service desk, but found nothing. The service desk was only two and a half feet in height and couldn't hide an adult woman of average stature.

The stewardess looked curiously at Garvin, who was looking around, and asked with concern: "Sir, what are you looking for? Did you lose something?"

"No, no." Garvin replied to her and walked to the slightly smaller cabin at the back, but it was even more deserted than the first cabin. Except for an old couple who were dozing and a young man playing with his mobile phone, no one else was around.

He immediately ran to the opposite side of the cabin and looked through the windows on the cabin wall towards the opposite deck, but the long and narrow deck was completely empty. Not a single person in sight.

At this moment, a hand unexpectedly was lay on his back, which frightened him so much that he almost jumped up on the spot: "Ah, what are you doing?"

"I should be the one to ask this!" Sebastian, the owner of the hand, said with a suspicious look on his face, "What are you looking for? Could it be that you lost your wallet?"

Garvin glanced at the fisherman not far away, then dragged Sebastian aside and asked in a low voice, "Did you just see a woman in white clothes and long hair standing next to that fisherman?"

"White clothes, long hair? Are you talking about the female ghost in the story just now?" Sebastian thought he was joking and asked playfully.

Female ghost? Hearing Sebastian's question, Garvin carefully thought about what he had just seen, and couldn't help but feel a chill running through his body.

Indeed, although the woman's long hair obscured her face, he still remembered that her face was as pale as white paper.

Not only that, it was early spring, and the weather was still very cold, especially on the windy sea. Therefore, even Sebastian, who often traveled around and was as strong as an ox, was wearing a thick coat. But the woman just now seemed to be wearing only a light, long-sleeved dress which was meant for summer.

No, it was not just the skirt that's light and fluttering, but her whole person gave an ethereal and fluttery feeling, as if she was basically floating in mid-air.

Garvin's face, which was originally pale due to seasickness, was even paler now. His shoulders were shaking slightly, and he weakly walked to a seat next to him and slumped down on it. Oh my god, here we go again! He wailed silently in his heart, but this time the place where he encountered the ghost was not in a hospital with many dead people, but on a ferry!

"What's wrong with you? You're not going to die from seasickness, are you?" Sebastian came over and pushed his shoulder.

"Sit down." Garvin pointed to the seat opposite him and said to Sebastian. "I need to tell you something."

"What's going on? You sound like you're going to tell me your last words?" Sebastian half frowned, half smiled, and sat down opposite Garvin.

Garvin looked around and saw that the other passengers around him were busy with their own business and no one was paying attention to their conversation, so he leaned towards Sebastian and lowered his voice: "Sebastian, I think there's something on this ferry. A ghost I think.”
