Jason sat in the darkness of his room, his eyes shut as he tried to connect with his powers; he could feel the powers drawing in on him, the wind in his room grew strong, and the voice of the dead that had been attacked to his powers whispered inside his ears.

The darkness had clouded him, that was exactly what he wanted. He had been defeated by Adrian too many times and now, Jason wanted to be certain that he was fully prepared.

But he was immediately interrupted by a knock on the door. Even while the knock persisted, he still had his eyes shut, but as soon as the eye mirror navigated to the door and he saw Freya standing right there, that was the moment that Jason disconnected from the darkness.

He was too surprised and confused to do anything again as he thought of several reasons why Freya would be at his house and even after thinking long and hard, the only thing he thought was that this was a trap.

A smile immediately curled through his lips. He was going to use this against her
