"You're really fast!" praised Julius with satisfaction. He really liked Jeff's neat and clean way of working. If this keeps up, Julius can reach his goal soon. The man was still staring in disbelief at the drawings Jeff had done in just twenty minutes!
"We could destroy the Cellen family if this is how you work." Jeff nodded in agreement and couldn't wait to do it under Julius' orders. It would be great to get back at that ignorant family!
"Sure Master, it's an easy thing. Give me an order, and I'll do as you ask." Julius was more than happy to hear Jeff's words. Now, he was a little more certain that this man was a servant of a wealthy family!
"Master, it's getting late. We'd better get out of here. It's not impossible for the people from the debt collector to call for reinforcements and find us now." Jeff interrupted respectfully. He reminded them of the danger they could be in if they didn't leave immediately.
Julius looked at Jeff, "Where are we going? I have no place to stay. All this time, I've been staying with Cellen's family."
"We're going to one of the Luckystone family's houses! You can rest comfortably." Jeff explained, and the man started walking while directing Julius towards the car he had been driving.
"We're not going straight to Master Luckystone's house?" asked Julius, standing in front of the car door.
"There are many things to take care of, Sir. This is not the right time," replied Jeff, who closed the car door as soon as Julius got in. The man moved to the driver's seat and began to drive the car through the night.
In less than fifteen minutes, they finally arrived at the location. Julius glared as he realized they were now in a luxurious area that he had never even stepped into!
"Come, sir!" Jeff led Julius to where he would be staying for the time being. The man was still observing the apartment area in awe. And even more incredulous when Jeff took him to the top floor of the building and gave him a penthouse!
"You can stay here for a while, Master Julius! Until preparations are complete for you to meet Master Luckystone." Julius nodded, still in awe of the penthouse he now occupied.
The floor was so shiny that Julius could see his own reflection. The walls were clean and decorated with black framed ornaments. With antique urns placed in the back corner of the living room and an elegant sofa that looked so comfortable to sit on.
"Now, I have to go. I have some things to take care of." Suddenly, Jeff excused himself, the man speaking in his trademark flat tone.
"I thought you'd be staying here too." Yes, Julius thought Jeff would be staying too, he didn't know if he would be left alone in such a luxurious and spacious place.
Jeff shook his head, "No, Master Julius. But, you don't have to worry. I left a number for you to call if you need anything. And also, a card that you can use if you want to buy anything you need."
"This?" Julius accepted the black card but immediately returned it to Jeff.
"No, Jeff, this is too fancy! I still have money to buy some things," Julius refused.
"Master, this is yours! Don't reject it, you deserve it." Jeff insisted and handed the card back to Julius, forcing him to accept it.
Julius almost refused again, "It's yours, Master! Accept it!"
So, Julius accepted it with a heavy sigh, "Alright, I'll take it."
"If nothing else is needed, I'll leave now, Master!" said Jeff, breaking Julius' reverie.
The man looked up, "Yes, you can go now, Jeff! Thank you very much!"
Now, Julius was alone in his penthouse. The man entered the room with a big smile.
He threw himself on the bed, enjoying how comfortable the place he was now living in was. Until, too comfortable on his bed, Julius unconsciously fell into a deep sleep.
He only woke up the next morning when his stomach felt hungry. It was so quiet, as he lived alone in his luxurious penthouse.
"It's almost noon already," he muttered when he saw the sun was a little high. He stretched and headed to the bathroom to wash her face.
Smoothing his appearance in the mirror, Julius finally came out of the room. Armed with the card Jeff gave him last night, the man intended to go shopping at the supermarket outside the building. But unluckily, just as he left the apartment area, he was rudely bumped by someone he couldn't see clearly.
"Shit! I hit a sewer rat!" the man cursed.
Julius got up and looked at the man who had just sworn. And now, he could also see that the woman beside him was squinting.
"Heh, why are you silent? But wait a minute, it's like I've seen you before." The man placed a hand on his chin, guessing at Julius' familiar-looking face.
Not only the man Julius also felt familiar.
"Oh my God! What did I dream last night? You really are a sewer rat! Damn! I'm so glad to see you here!" he shouted loudly with a booming laugh.
"Oh, is that the rat?" The woman at his side covered her mouth dramatically, even as her laughter gushed out shamelessly. In fact, Julius wanted to cover his ears, which were ringing.
Julius remembered that they were people who had met him when he was still living with the Cellen family. So, Julius didn't bother and chose to ignore them. The man turned and left. If only the man in the rolled-up shirt hadn't shouted for his attention again.
"Where are you going? You should apologize first, who knows I can help you if you need money for food!" said the man with the thin moustache.
"But you hit me, so I don't need to apologize." Julius refused, he even tried to leave the place.
"You stinking sewer rat! You've ruined my morning view, damn it! You should apologize!" The woman beside him interjected, not caring if they were now attracting attention.
Letting out a rude sigh, Julius turned to leave anyway. But unluckily, the man who had been looking for trouble with him in the first place came back shouting shamelessly.
"Hey, you have a mouth, right? I told you to apologize! Are you deaf? Oh yeah, you've already been kicked out! Now you must be scavenging through the garbage for food, huh?" she laughed.
"Of course he will, he has no money! He's been kicked out by the Cellen family!" The woman added, her voice shrill and shrill.
"Poor guy, you must be wondering what to eat now!" Not yet satisfied, they continued to mock Julius rudely. It didn't matter if it really offended Julius.
"Shit!" Julius cursed.
Julius would always remember who they were. They were one of the few friends Bella had ever met. The few times they met, they always said bad things and insulted Julius at will. They even told Julius that he was an annoying sewer rat. Knowing that the atmosphere would not improve if he stayed there, Julius chose to remain ignorant. Julius casually turned around, walking away from the two people staring at him. "Heh, sewer rat! Where are you going? I'm not done talking to you yet!" he snapped with a hand roughly grabbing Julius' back collar. Julius, unprepared, stumbled and almost fell to the asphalt. Unable to hold back, Julius returned the stares of the two people in front of him with equally fierce looks. "Did you look like that, huh? Do you dare me now?" he challenged as he rolled his shirt sleeves even higher. "He won't dare Ron! That stinking rat doesn't have the guts to fight you! He's got no one now!" The woman, Tina, fanned her face with her hands. The woman laughed mocki
"Your mouth is so big, huh?! Did you take the wrong medicine?" Ron teased with widened eyes. He found Julius' remark completely unfounded. Julius smiled wryly, "Isn't that you with the big mouth, Ron? I know what scandal you've been hiding." Julius was never afraid of anything, let alone the power he had now. He casually folded his arms across his chest, staring at Ron's seemingly unaffected face. Ron snorted, the man dismissive of Julius' words. To him, Julius was nothing more than a weak and powerless threat. "Tell me, trickster! Tell me what you know!" challenged Ron in his arrogant manner. Now, Julius looked around. Everyone was paying attention to him. It wouldn't be wrong if he got back at Ron and Tina now! He would humiliate them just like they did to Julius! "You guys are really sneaky, stealing your coworkers' money without any guilt. Your behavior is absolutely disgusting!" said Julius, who now had a straight face. He knew everything that the two people who now looked pa
Ron and Tina looked at each other in confusion. In fact, Tina had to glare to confirm what she was seeing now. The director was bowing to Julius! Clearly, this was out of the ordinary for both of them. "Sir, he's already causing trouble here! Why are you bowing to him?" asked Ron in disbelief. His eyes narrowed sarcastically, wondering what the director was doing. Tina replied that she had to convince this man called Mr. Sam to kick Julius out and disrespect him. "That's right, Sir! If it weren't for this bum, there wouldn't be any chaos in Mr. Sam's elite estate!" "Shut up, you guys don't know anything!" said Sam, who seemed to be holding back a growl. The two of them seemed to him like the troublemakers here. This made for a messy situation for him, he was having some bad luck that he hadn't expected. "But Sir, look at him! If you continue to let him in here, the quality of this elite building will decline and be ruined! He'll only bring bad luck!" Tina didn't want her lies ex
"Damn Julius!" cursed Ron as he kicked the gravel on the side of the road. The passing vehicles' noise and the air's heat made his irritation grow. Remembering Julius' face when he and Tina had been thrown out in disgrace made his hands clench into fists. Anger overcame him with a raging breath. He wanted to punch Julius and stomp him into begging for mercy! "We have to get back at that rat, Ron! I won't take it!" Tina shouted as she stomped through the smoke-filled streets. She waved her hands in front of her face to block out the fumes. When she was annoyed, car horns being honked impatiently annoyed her. Moreover, the sun seemed to be shining overhead. "Yes, we have to get back at him! Damn, every time I think of his lowly face I want to beat that poor guy with both hands!" Ron was still on a roll. Until a call on Ron's cell phone made him stop at the side of the road. The man stared with furrowed brows as the number from his bank popped up. "Hello?" he greeted with a raised
That morning, Julius called Jeff in to see him. The man, who had just finished breakfast, was sitting sipping tea while waiting for Jeff, his trusted servant. Not long after, the man entered and bowed to salute and greet, "Good morning, Mr. Julius. Did you enjoy the breakfast menu?" Jeff asked. The man ensured that Julius was satisfied with his chosen menu.Julius straightened up, crossed his legs, and stared coldly at Jeff, who had not yet straightened up. He certainly knew the reason why the master was acting this way towards him. It must be because of the service error that happened yesterday morning."I apologize for Sam's slowness in serving you. Yesterday's incident must have bothered you a lot." Jeff hadn't finished speaking, and the man paused his sentence momentarily."He wasn't quick enough to deal with the problem, and deserves to be punished. Master-" Before Jeff could finish, Julius cut him off."That's not necessary, Jeff." Julius spoke firmly, his eyes looking disintere
Armed with the luxury car he had chosen from the VVIP basement, Julius drove out of his luxurious penthouse. The car sped through the crowded streets on a busy morning. It seemed to shine among the other vehicles that filled the streets. It didn't take long before Julius arrived at his destination. A simple eatery is on the side of the road with some small trees. And Julius immediately parked his car quite far away. The man entered and looked around. His eyes found a man sitting at the end, who stood up and waved."Uncle Thony?" greeted Julius kindly. The man sat down in front of the older man he called Thony. They exchanged high-fives, and Uncle Thony immediately offered Julius a drink. The man looked so happy because he had not seen the son of his best friend for so long."Oh my, Julius! How long has it been since we've seen each other?" The slightly chubby man smiled again, revealing the wrinkles on his cheekbones. Some of his hair was already graying, with a thin beard and dull ey
Julius ran over and caught Thony's body on the sidewalk. Concerned, Julius asked, "Is Uncle okay?" Especially when he saw the bruise on Thony's hand, caused by rubbing against the rough surface of the sidewalk.Thony, of course, didn't answer, he just stayed silent with a pale face and a cold body. He didn't even seem to hear what Julius was asking him. The man looked dazed, even his shoulders shook unconsciously."Uncle?"Julius waved a hand before Thony, and shook his shoulders for a while. Thony blinked, and was surprised by Julius' presence. The man even backed away while dragging himself away. His face looked panicked and even paler.Thony's eyes widened, "Julius, why are you here? What are you doing? Go away!" Thony pleaded in a frightened tone. The man looked so worried that his eyebrows knitted together. His eyes glanced around, the panic on his face unconcealable.Thony didn't want Julius here, so he pushed Julius' chest aside, "Get out of here, Julius. You can't be here." Ye
Upon hearing Julius' statement, Thony immediately grabbed Julius and turned him around to face him. With a panicked look, Thony said, "Julius, don't act stupidly! Uncle knows how you live, don't be like this."It was still evident in Thony's mind how Julius endured the insults and abuse he didn't deserve. In fact, the Cellen family rationed his expenses, demonizing him in public. Julius never got justice, he was treated as he pleased.Julius frowned, "Uncle doesn't know how I live. And I don't need your money right now." Julius responded in a low voice, because he respected Uncle Thony. But Thony still refused Julius, even more loudly and firmly. His body was still weak, but he really didn't want Julius to get into trouble of his own making."Why are you so stubborn? Leave, because it's the best choice." But unfortunately, Thony's wish was opposed by Julius.Julius now chuckled, "I'm not leaving, Uncle. You're wrong if you think this is the best option. I'm not a loser who would run a
As it turned out, Diego managed to injure Julius out by punching him right in the solar plexus. This caused Julisu to inadvertently loosen his grip on Diego's head, allowing the man to escape and return to his feet to attack Julius. Once again, the fight was on. The two men with great stamina threw punches and kicks at each other. Julius hit Diego so many times that several of his teeth were knocked out, and his mouth oozed fresh blood. At first glance, the older man looked like someone who had just been in a severe accident and was the victim of a hit-and-run.Diego spat on the floor and readied himself to attack Julius. The man moved forward and tried to punch Julius in the face with fast punches. But Julius dodged, and after a few times, Julius twisted his body and elbowed Diego in the back of the head before kicking him into the wall and smashing him with a spinning kick. Diego groaned loudly, and he slumped against the wall until the blood coming out of his nose formed a red lin
Diego threw his black mask to the floor with great emotion. He stared at Julius with a vengeful gaze, "Tonight will be the night of your burial," he hissed. Diego seemed eager to defeat Julius and crush him to his bones.Julius must have heard the man's words behind his servants, who covered his body from the enemy. Julius snorted, looking at Diego calmly, "Ah, I see you're wrong. Today is your last day on earth, for you will soon join your son in hell, not me." Julius turned Diego's words around and challenged him with open arms. He had been waiting for this day for a long time. The day when Diego would come and chase him like there was no tomorrow. This would be fun because Julius could see something that would make Diego even hotter in his circle.Diego glared at Julius' words, and the man ruffled his loins with an unaccepting look in his eyes, "Shut your fucking mouth! Or I'll rip you apart with my hands so you can't talk out of your ass anymore!" Diego shouted until his voice ech
Julius sharpened his vision and began to look around. Up ahead, the orchestra players were still playing various music in a way that was so mesmerising that it mesmerised them into focusing on one place. Amazingly, they were able to combine dance and music at the same time. This new concept had attracted so much attention that no one noticed the strangeness of what was happening.Julius shook his head slightly behind some of the guests, who were dancing to the beat. Julius noticed something suspicious. Something that seemed to glisten in the light and was hidden so neatly. But Julius knew that it was not the sparkle of the women's jewellery that had a flicker on every accessory they wore.Realising something was wrong, Julius immediately jumped to the side, avoiding a shot that came at him suddenly. The sound of the image was so loud it immediately made the guests startle and scream. They turned their heads towards Julius before running back and forth to save themselves. It didn't mat
For the next month, Julius did not find Diego anywhere. The man was like dust in the wind, flying away and nowhere to be found. Julius had mobilized many people to find Diego and bring him back alive. But until now, no one had given any news of his whereabouts. But even so, Julius didn't bother. His life was already very peaceful without any distractions. The little distractions that came his way were easily brushed aside.Enemies who moved slowly and without calculation, Julius had eliminated without getting his hands dirty. In short, Julius had no real problems after Diego left.Even so, he didn't let his guard down just yet. It wasn't impossible for Diego to suddenly show up and surprise him. He always double-checks anyone who tries to work with his family, tracing their background to their latest activities. Because, not everyone has one trait, they could be small actors who are being used to attack Julius like poison dripped in a drink. It would destroy him slowly, without anyone
Diego managed to escape and leave the city of Pharao. The man disappeared as if swallowed by the earth. Not a single person managed to find his whereabouts. He was hiding in several places and moving from one place to another over the next few days and months. The man was nowhere to be seen, and people began to lose track of him running away. Several flyers had been distributed, with the word 'fugitive' written all over the city, preventing the man from moving freely. Still, Diego persisted and disguised himself so that his true face was hard to recognise. Perhaps, if his business partners accidentally met him, they wouldn't be able to acknowledge Diego's current face, as it had changed too much.Like today, Diego came out of the small apartment he had rented for a small fee on the edge of town. The flat, built on three levels, with each unit only a quarter of the size of Diego's old living room, is painted a dull grey. Each team had a small balcony with a rusty old iron railing that
Diego ran down the stairs at high speed. He could hear the gunfire racing behind him. Although he didn't see it firsthand, Diego could tell by now that the pursuers had reached his private room. That's because he could hear footsteps pounding up there, right on the floor that separated the study from the shortcut to the back door. Diego looked up briefly, ensuring the men couldn't find him trying to escape. Diego had a door camouflaged as a wall, just in case something unpleasant happened, like this time. Even here, he could get a lightweight, easy-to-store handgun. And that's what the two bodyguards guarding Diego and helping him escape from his home were holding onto.Unfortunately, the people chasing Diego quickly realized where he was. Suddenly, the wooden door, which was the same colour as Diego's walls, was broken down by one of the men dressed in all black with a long-barreled gun in his hand, "Stop right there!" he shouted to Diego, who was still running down the circular sta
Everyone held their breath, eyes bulging in surprise. A photo was sent, clearly visible from head to toe. He was a man over fifty years old with a black suit and hair starting to grow grey. Many people know him because he is one of the public figures who often appears and donates to several parties. However, he has also been scandalized for his behaviour of dating women and walking away. The policeman who broke the news said, "He was the one who caused the terror and beating that happened yesterday in the city center. Precisely, when we were all celebrating our own city's birthday."The police chief's statement certainly raised questions for many people. A woman still wearing an apron on her body looked surprised, she looked at the TV screen and covered her mouth in disbelief, "Isn't that Mr. Diego?" she asked with a questioning face. Apparently, it was a portrait of Wood Diego, the father of the late Marco, who had been well-known to the public because of his wealth. The man owned se
Diego kicked the chair in front of him hard and shouted in a booming voice, "Damn it! Why did he survive again, huh?!" The man looked furious, his face bright red and his eyes bulging. He threw everything against the wall, including the wine glass and bottle he had just enjoyed a few minutes ago. They were shattered, and he didn't care about the price of the drink that was now gone without a sip of enjoyment. The man rubbed his face roughly, "They should have moved properly! Why is it so hard to kill that bastard? Are they so stupid that they can't even stab a man who isn't protected by anyone? Do I have to set an example with my own hands?" he raged, having again failed to take the life of the Julius he hated so much. His plan failed because of luck or because his people were stupid and couldn't take advantage of the situation. One thing was for sure, he hated failure in his life.In annoyance, the man punched the air, "You just need to stab him like this! Then he falls, and you can
It was chaos. Too many people had come to the event, which was difficult for the few police officers. Most of them were hysterical and crying, crouching down as if their legs could no longer move and running. The few who could still run screamed and cursed at their bad luck. Then, things got even more chaotic as armed troops appeared from all sides of the square. They carried firearms and sharp weapons, pointing at anyone who tried to flee the scene. A man in a blue jersey seemed unconcerned as he shoved one of the gun-toting besiegers, "Move aside! I'm not afraid of you! You're just-! And the sound of firearms going off was heard. The man fell to the ground with blood pouring out of his head, just lying there because he had lost his life. The people who witnessed the incident screamed in terror and scattered further away. Unfortunately, so many troops surrounded them that they were forced to crouch down and raise their hands to avoid being hurt.At that moment, the situation in the s
