After getting off the bus, Chase pulled his phone out of his pocket, “Oakdale.” He muttered and then snapped his head upwards. With a smile on the side of his lips, he allowed his eyes to roam around his current environment for a while. Oakdale was a little town which bustled with different activities all through the year. FlavorQuest…It had been three weeks since Chase opened the restaurant but the progress had been slow. On most days, they had just one customer and so they had been experiencing a lot of loss which left them discouraged. Ignoring Chase, Zara kept pressing on. Stamping her feet against the floor, Zara looked around the restaurant, leaving the rest of the staff in suspense, even Chase was not let out in this. During the one-week duration, while they were trying to put things in order, Zara kept raising awareness on her social media page. She was an Instagram influencer with over three million dedicated followers so the awareness went a long way to help. Chase and Wembley focused their energy on repainting the restaurant in bright colors and replacing the bulbs and different decorations with more appealing colors. The tension in the room was palpable as an angry Katherine gripped the edge of her chair, glaring angrily at Zara who wasn't showing any form of emotion. “Have you lost your mind?” She yelled. “I made the decision already and there's no going back.” Zara replied with a calm tone. She had already prepared herself for this and so she wasn't shaken by her reaction. Meanwhile, Raven on the other hand was observing the situation with her legs crossed. When Professor Yun made the call an hour ago, she was present in her mother's office so it wasn't news to her. Still fuming with anger, Katherine grabbed the bottle of water off the table and then took a long sip of it. Pushing her hair behind her ear, she rose and then walked straight to Zara. Grabbing her by the cuff of her shirt, she made her stand, “What do you think you're doing? If I had known that useless man is going to ruin your life, I wouldn't have allowed him to get married to you.” she yelled, her face reddened with anger.
