Day One Quest – Part 2.

Taylor rushed out of the Dragon Gate Shop, heading for Mount Sinai Hospital. Kerry was the second person he was going to treat Today.

In front of the administration desk, after waiting for an hour, Taylor was finally relieved when Kerry accepted the lunch invitation.

"I only have an hour."

"I'll pick a nearby restaurant, don't worry!"

Taylor and Kerry had lunch at a European restaurant just a few blocks away from Mount Sinai Hospital. Besides saving time, the food was delicious.

Taylor held his breath as He paid at the cash register. "2,500 dollars for this quality meal! Next time you visit, I'll show you something even more special." The cashier smiled kindly as Heswiped Taylor's ATM card.

Taylor kept smiling even though his heart was choked up. He didn't want to look unprofessional with a moping face during the transaction. Always smiling politely and gracefully, Taylor seemed like a kind-hearted person.

"You are a very generous and charitable, young man," Kerry said as she hugged Taylor gratefully, making Taylor blush. He felt embarrassed by Kerry's praise. Finally, Taylor gave up his money for the people who had been kind to her.

When Taylor tried to communicate with the system, he received a short reply. "Two of the five people on the list are fulfilled. Three challenges left!"

It was 5 pm, and Taylor needed clarification about who He was going to eat with.

"Harvey! Why did I forget him?"

Taylor ran to Asian Hawks Bar and met Harvey. Harvey was surprised when Taylor invited him to dinner.

Since Harvey had underestimated him and it was still too early for dinner, they sat down to relax and drink coffee at the famous outlet "Star Luck." This time, Taylor ordered drinks and snacks for a fee.

As the clock struck 20:00 and the Quest deadline approached, Taylor randomly selected a moody-looking young girl who was busy with her cell phone, making a video call. The girl was dressed up in Gothic style.

As Taylor approached, he heard the girl crying. Taylor offered to have dinner with her.

"Go away! Don't touch me."

"Hey, take it easy. I just want to invite you to eat, okay?"

Casually, Taylor explained that he had just won the lottery and invited the girl to dinner. His face took on a look of disbelief, and the girl asked, "Does anyone still play the lottery these days? You look like an old-fashioned young man." she noticed that Taylor looked like a student who frequented the university library. The girl then accepted Taylor's invitation after her dinner appointment with her girlfriend was canceled.

"It just so happens that my dinner appointment was canceled by my boyfriend. I think your offer is quite interesting!"

They agreed to have dinner at a fancy Thai Restaurant after a girl named Lily revealed that she was a lesbian. "Don't expect much, I just like eating with girls!" Taylor just laughed, and they sat down to eat and talk.

Just as they were about to order, a voice came from the opposite table, "Look, it's Taylor, right? he dropped out of school because of money problems. Now, he can eat at this fancy Thai restaurant. Is it possible that he tricked that girl and used him for a free meal?"

Taylor turned and saw two people at a large table overlooking the artificial pond. It was Astrid, one of the beautiful girls in the class, with her boyfriend Simon. Astrid was said to come from an ordinary family, but he became arrogant after dating Simon.

"I'm sure at most they just ordered a few small dishes, then took photos and posted them on I*******m," Simon said in a voice made to sound authoritative.

"Hey, do you know them?" Lily started to get angry.

"Yes, they were classmates at university. Unfortunately, I couldn't continue my studies because of the fees."

Taylor looked at Astrid and Simon with concern, and Lily asked again, "You want me to flirt with those two? I could pretend to be pregnant with the boy. I'm sure it would make for some great domestic drama!"

Taylor held Lily's hand and said, "Leave it alone!"

"Alright!"

The two were enjoying their delicious dinner when the dishes came.

Seeing that the dishes on Taylor and Lily's table were so diverse and luxurious, Astrid called the waiter. With a loud voice and arrogant tone, Astrid ordered a dish similar to the one Taylor and Lily had ordered, but with double the portion.

"Honey... isn't this too much? It's just the two of us. And again..." Simon tried to explain, but Astrid wouldn't listen.

"I don't want to look poor in the eyes of Taylor who used to be poor. And besides, ordering this expensive meal is worth it." Astrid drew herself closer to Simon and tried to persuade him more intimately. Finally, Simon relented and said a weak, "Okay!"

Taylor and Lily had left the Thai Restaurant long ago, while Simon and Astrid were still standing in front of the cash register in a cold sweat. Simon felt that the dish Taylor had ordered for 5,000 dollars was expensive because all the ingredients were specially imported from Southeast Asia.
