Upper Avenue

Dr Michael arrived an hour and half later. He was drenched in a raincoat. There was a rain storm outside.

Logan studied him closely. He was a witty old man with grey hairs and beard, and sick small eyes.

One look at him and Logan was reminded of a mad scientist.

"This had better be good, Ginny," Dr Michael said, approaching the counter. "I drove all the way in this crazy storm to get here."

"Quit winning old man," the girl said annoyingly. "I told you, it'd be worth it, didn't I?"

"You said that but I don't see anyone else but you," Dr Michael said frowning. "Don't even try to waste my time."

Ginny rolled her eyes. "You must be blind or something. Look around you. There's that fella sitting alone over there. He's the one who's selling his kidney."

Dr Michael turned around and that was when he saw Logan.

Logan waved at him. "Yo."

Dr Michael didn't return his greeting. "You're selling your kidney?"
