"Welcome to the Golden city," Greg said.

"Thank you for taking care of me these last three days," Logan said. "I'll never forget you."

"Think nothing of it," Greg said, then stared worriedly at him. "You don't have much money on you, do you?"

Logan checked his income status, he only has 3 hours left before his penalty was lifted.

Logan rubbed the back of his head shyly. "Actually I don't have a penny on me, but you don't have to worry about that. I can manage on my own."

Greg shook his head. "You won't last long in the streets, son. Here, it's only $600 but at least it can get you a room for the night."

"Really, Greg, you don't have to."

"But I insist," Greg said, his tone grave. "You don't know what it's like in this city. The people are terrible. They're like monsters wearing human skin. I don't know how you planned to survive in this city but it'd be difficult for you to push through without money."
