In Captivity II

Startled, the guard released his choke and dropped the prisoner down. He recognized the voice. The sudden emergence of a soft voice made the large, built, manly guard loses his composure and gave him a jolt of nervousness.

Rick dropped to the floor, slammed his body to the ground. His wish of death had been disturbed. He spat with the remaining saliva that drenched his tongue. Then he flitted his vision to the one who said the order. It was a woman.

“Apologies, Maria!” The guard said as he hurried himself out to the Agent’s cage.

“What did I tell you?” Maria scolded.

“Not to hurt the prisoner. It won’t happen again.” The guard answered hesitantly.

“You better be.” The woman scoffed. She turned her gaze upon the prisoner. Their eyes met.
