"You," Eva called out to Alex, her voice trembling with suppressed rage. "You better treat my father well, or I will kill you."

Alex's eyes turned cold, a dark anger flickering within them; he never liked being threatened. "Then I don't want to try anymore. I'm sorry, I'm just wasting my time here."

With that, Alex turned and began to walk out of the ward.

Ava hastily grabbed Alex's hand, desperation evident in her eyes. "Please, don’t listen to my twin sister. Please try your best to help my father. Just do your best, it’s okay with whatever the result."

"Ava," Eva began, but Ava quickly cut her off.

"Eva, shut your mouth. If you open it again, I will walk out with him and let you handle all of this. Later, I will tell the big family you prevented Father from being treated. See what they will say."
