Miles fell silent, not knowing what to say. For the next few seconds, he just held the phone to his ear unbelievably. This was the last thing he had expected from Jess. At least not after barely three days that they broke up.

"Miles, please help me. They are going to hurt me if I don't pay this money. You are the only one I can run to now," Jess's teary voice sounded from the other end, and he briefly sighed.

"Are you still there since yesterday?" He had to ask her, a bit confused. Even though the wine Leo manipulated for him was expensive, he had thought that maybe they'd found their way out of it.

"I know we were wrong. We shouldn't have done that to you... Please don't punish me this way. Help me out," She cried out, her voice sounding frightened.

"Leo... He left me here. He said he was going to the restroom but left me here to sort things out, and they are not letting me go. I'm trying to reach him but it's not going through. Please help me, just this once," Once again
