Chapter 22

The luxurious room was only lit by dim light. Windows and curtains closed as a precaution. The door was locked and Souza with the gun in one hand was prepared for any future surprise attack. The manager of the Danjour hotel, already informed that they would arrive, took them to the main penthouse.

Gabi had laid down on the bed and pretended to sleep, but the killer knew she was awake. Souza was sitting comfortably in an armchair with his feet stretched out. He looked at the shadow lying on the bed waiting for the moment when she could no longer pretend to be in a deep sleep. It would soon be dawn, at that moment it was already three in the morning.
