XCVIII.II Sigma
The tension that built up on the room was so thick that you could probably cut a solid chunk out of the air inside. The round table oozed of nervous stillness and desperate energy; both borne of a distinct lack of proper ideas and half-baked solutions that never seemed to gel properly despite all that was done to it. I was almost tempted to jump in just suggest something.

'Then why not, Master?'

You already know my reasons. Besides, we're not completely dead in the water just yet.

It was important that the ideas kept flowing in a meeting even if they were all shit just to keep the momentum going. If not, then this exact scenario happens and nothing gets done. If all else, it would make it faster to get to a proper solution than to ruminate inside your own head about what-ifs and all that shit.

'Like what you always do?'
