In the scorching afternoon sun, Evan stood outside Dynacorp Industries, preparing to go in.

It had been two days since the Reynolds family partnership termination and the Smiths declared bankruptcy.

He had come here seeking for answers, as this was the place Mr. Johnson had mentioned when Evan asked the question that had been troubling him for some time.

The question was about the murder of his father, who was killed after leaving the very company Evan now stood in front of. His father had visited a friend, the company's CEO, just before his murder.

With a calm sigh, Evan managed to walk in.

As soon as he entered, he heard someone call out his name in a surprised tone, "Evan, is that you?!"

Startled, Evan turned to his right and saw a familiar face, one he recognized instantly. It was Alex Thompson, one of his former college classmates.
