The Orphan [II]

As he was getting closer to the edge of Deer Village, a figure suddenly rushed out from the side. Lynn had no chance to dodge at all, and he collided violently with the figure. The powerful recoil force caused Lynn's body to be knocked away, and he couldn't hold the puppy in his arms, and it fell to the ground.

After being thrown backwards for nearly two meters, Lynn's body fell heavily to the ground. Severe pain came from all over his body, making him frown deeply. This also made him completely sober. When he looked up, he saw a young man with a body as big as a mountain.

The boy was about fourteen or fifteen years old, wearing rags, but his body was unusually sturdy, with bulging muscles, and he looked full of strength. When he collided with Lynn who was running at full speed, he only retreated but did not fall down, and at this moment he was looking at Lynn with a smug look on his face.

Due to this delay, several young men behind him also chased after him, as if they were afraid that Lynn would escape again. After they arrived, they immediately surrounded Lynn, but each of them was panting heavily, and some even collapsed on the ground, seemingly exhausted.

After a while, when everyone had recovered, a young man walked out from the crowd. The young man grabbed Lynn by the collar, showing a grim smile that did not match his age.

Without saying a word, he slapped Lynn in the face and said, "Run, run again, aren't you a very fast runner? Damn it, you made me run out of breath while chasing you. If I don't break both of your legs this time, I will take your last name from now on."

After that, he stood up and kicked Lynn hard on the leg.

The severe pain coming from his leg made Lynn's face twisted, but his eyes did not waver at all, and he looked directly at the young man in front of him without fear.

He was Kaia that the Donnie mentioned before.

The dog-head looked at Lynn, kicked him in the face, and said fiercely: "What are you looking at? Are you still looking? Are you still looking?"

Every time Kaia spoke a word, he kicked Lynn. Soon, blood was flowing from Lynn's face, and a big bump appeared on it. The intense pain made his whole body tremble violently.

After fighting for a while, the dog-head saw that everyone else was just standing there, and couldn't help but yelled, "What the f*ck are you looking at? Beat me up!"

The others had no mercy on Lynn. After hearing what Jun said, they all swarmed around punching and kicking Lynn, especially the burly young man, who punched him hard.

At this moment, Jun kicked Lynn hard, and Lynn's arm suddenly made a teeth-grinding sound of bone dislocation.

Lynn let out a shrill scream, one of his arms bent backwards unnaturally, veins bulged on his forehead, and the intense pain made his face turn pale in an instant.

But despite this, the group of people had no intention of stopping and continued to kick and hit wildly.

It was unknown how long it had been before Lynn's consciousness began to blur. Finally, his eyes rolled up and he passed out.

Seeing Lynn unconscious, the group of people beat him a few more times, but they felt that if they continued, someone might really die, so they stopped.

However, Kaia still seemed unsatisfied, and asked the burly young man to lift Lynn and take him away.

At this moment, he felt that he had kicked something. He looked down and saw that it was the lifeless puppy.

Kaia frowned and was about to kick the body away, but suddenly stopped, looked at Lynn who was carried on his shoulders, grinned, and said: "Boy, since you like being with this puppy so much, I will let him keep you company."

As he spoke, he looked around, walked to a nearby place, picked up a wooden stick, inserted it into the puppy's body, hung it up, hummed a little tune, and left with the burly young man.

Not far from Hallow Village, Jun lay on the ground, watching Lynn being taken away. Looking at Lynn's bruised face and drooping arms, his eyes were full of fear and his body was shaking slightly. He didn't dare to stand up until Jun and the others walked away.

The Broken Heart Cliff, located one thousand meters north of Hallow Village, is a steep cliff that is shrouded in a layer of fog all year round. The road up the mountain is covered with gravel and one may slip if one is not careful, or even fall directly off the cliff. Therefore, generally no one comes to this place.

At this moment, Kaia and the burly young man came to the edge of the cliff. Gusts of cold wind blew in their faces, making Kaia shiver uncontrollably.

The sturdy young man looked at Kaia, then at the misty cliff below him, and seemed to have guessed what he was going to do. He hesitated and said, "Leader, we can just teach this guy a lesson. There's no need to kill anyone."

Kaia had a hideous look on his face, and his eyes were full of bloodshot. He looked at the unconscious Lynn and said with gritted teeth, "This guy has gone against me time and again. I have tolerated him for a long time. Anyway, he is just an orphan without a father or a mother. No one will hold him accountable if he dies."

The young man said: "But..."

Before he could finish, Kaia glared at him and shouted, "Just throw it away when I told you to. Why are you talking so much nonsense?"

The young boy didn't expect that Kaia would actually dare to say that, and he took a step back involuntarily. After all, he was still a child, and he couldn't bear to do anything cruel. Finally, Kaia got tired of waiting and grabbed Lynn from the boy's shoulder.

Then he glared at the young man fiercely, kicked him, spitted at him, and said fiercely: "Useless thing, get out of here, I will do it myself."

The young man took a few steps back and looked at the unconscious Lynn. He began to feel a little regretful. Although he looked strong and sturdy, he was no match for Kaia in a real fight. He wanted to take action at the moment, but he was powerless. He could only step aside silently, lowering his head and keeping silent.

At this moment, Kaia grabbed Lynn's hair and said with a chuckle: "Boy, you shouldn't have messed with me, and this is the end of going against me." After that, he let go of his hand and kicked Lynn off the cliff without hesitation.

He also threw the puppy's body down, and soon Lynn's body was swallowed up by the fog below and disappeared.

The sturdy young man's face turned pale, he never expected that this dog-headed man would actually dare to kill people. At this moment, he looked at the dog-headed man with eyes full of fear, and his body couldn't help shaking.

Kaia looked down the cliff, sneered, clapped his hands as if throwing away a piece of garbage, then turned and walked down the mountain.
