Attack Of The Antherions [I]

"Attack! Don't let a single one of them escape." Seeing they had been discovered, Germeyes, patriarch of the bear clan, shouted at the antherions, and at the same time flew towards the Ironwood tribe with Harbonok, the second son of the dragon clan.

The bear antherions who were on the ground, after hearing Germeyes's order, roared from different directions and rushed towards the Ironwood tribe.

One of the fourth-level bear antherions, Yaka, took the lead and ran at the front. He could perform partial transformation into human form, but because of his low magical power, he was grouped among the inferior antherions. Although he thought his conveyance was high and strong, at most he was just doing some errands for high-level antherions.

This time, to launch a cleanup on a small tribe, for him, a fourth-level monster, it was also a simple matter. In the past, when his level was lower, he had had participated in many similar fights. Except for one or two humans who were essence masters, all of the humans were like soft threads. They were very easy to kill for him.

This time, as a higher ranked member of the antherions, Yaka was happy to follow the commands of his superiors, especially that of the Harbonok. As a high ranking member of one of the antherion clans, he was also very strong naturally. He wanted to show his power by killing more humans in a great slaughter.

Fortunately for him, his group had a strong presence in Germeyes, and performing well in front of the patriarch could mean great things. Maybe he could even get a good standing in the eyes of the second son of the dragon clan and be allowed to stay by his side. At that time, he could be regarded as a royalty.

While the fourth-level bear antherion was thinking of good things in his heart, his legs were already moving in the direction of the Ironwood tribe. When he saw that more than a dozen human beings were shouting and running towards him, he suddenly roared in delight, and went straight to meet them.

The powerful earth magic of the bear clan was not simple at all. Each magical attack would strike down a number of the villagers. One after another, earth walls, raised by the antherion, pushed back the humans, while their earth spears ruthlessly ravaged the lives of the Ironwood people.

Just after taking two steps, Yaka saw that more than half of the humans had stopped on their tracks, and were aiming their bows at him. The antherion couldn't help but wonder what these humans were trying to do. What was with their confidence? As soon as he saw their actions, he began to slow down.

At this moment, he only heard the swooshing sounds of arrows flying in his direction. The antherion suddenly felt four or five bloody holes in his body made by the arrows, and his body flew back involuntarily.

The most unfortunate thing was that he was shot in the eye with the arrow drilling into his brain, making him feel darkness in front of him, and there was nothing on his body that did not hurt. He fell to the ground, and stopped breathing.

At this moment, the wooshing sound of the arrows continued to come from all directions, mixed with the painful roars of the beast antherions and the cries of the humans.

The power of the bows was exceptional, but it was only for monsters below level three and four. In the face of bear antherions that were generally above the fourth level, in addition to causing pain or a little injury, most of them could only be itchy.

Harbonok snorted. What sort of human clan was this? The second born of the dragon clan floated in the air and looked at the battlefield below, his eyes monitoring the humans who kept firing the deadly arrows.

Looking at the raging battlefield underneath him, Harbonok couldn't help thinking in his heart: How could the humans develop an advancement of such a weapon? If these weapons spread among the human race, and it was further advanced, it would be greatly detrimental to the survival of his antherion race. He came across it today, and he must kill all of them, and destroy these weapons while it was still in its bud.

While thinking about it, Harbonok suddenly remembered something, and looked around. He recalled that when he rushed over just now, he did see a human essence master swooping down from the sky. But right now, in the battle going on beneath him, there was no shadow of the essence master. Did he run away?
