Mason pressed the knife tightly against Raul’s neck. “Let him go!” She screamed.

The distraction was all Raul needed to kick Mason in the groin. “Argh!” He yelled as he curled up in pain. But before Raul couldn't get away, Mason kicked him to the floor and then grabbed the knife.

However, Skyler had carried a chair and before Mason could stab Raul, Skyler crashed the chair against his back, knocking him out instantly.

The knife clattered as it fell to the ground. She extended her hand to Raul to help him up. “Are you okay? Are you hurt?”

He shook his head. “I'll be fine,” he said. She slung his arm over her shoulders acting as his support. Together they made their way out.

Raul had been beaten badly by the boys. “We should take him to the school clinic,” Irene suggested as she stopped the taxi.
