Chapter Fifty-Five

A couple of days had passed since Frederick got walked all over by Aidan. Aidan and his attorney were on the drive down to the downtown parts of the City to meet with the lady who tried suing Madam Doris but failed.

It was a breezy afternoon, as Cole pulled the car into the ghetto neighborhood of Emergande City. Seeing this part of the City brought painful memories to Aidan.

For one time he was thrown out by his landlord because he couldn't meet the rent which further prompted him to end up living with Jake who made his life a living hell. He grunted and shook his head recollecting those hurtful memories.

He saw a kid run into the street and Cole quickly pulled the brakes to avoid hitting him. Since it didn't occur, Mr. Raymond decided to ask the little boy for directions as he wasn't quite sure of the lady’s house address.

“Yeah, I know that place… But you're gonna have to pay for it, you know…”
