Chapter Fifty-Four

Aidan's POV

“Your property?!” Aidan laughed and questioned as he saw it was none other person than Frederick Clayton himself, coming in with the police to arrest him.

Aidan pushed the barely conscious thug boss who was extremely lucky as the knife’s wound didn't seem fatal away from him. He slumped to the floor with a thud.

He brushed himself and adjusted his cuff links as Frederick stormed toward him.

“Yes, boy! My property!” He spat on Aidan’s face as he was now close to him.

Aidan's lips curved into a sly grin as he took his index finger and used that to push Frederick back from him.

After that, he crept close to his ears, breathing heavily, and hot on his neck. “Call me boy one more time…” He brought his head and soulless eyes back to Frederick. “And you’ll rue that you ever stepped foot in here.”

Aidan locked eyes with him, not giving care to his menaces and coercion. Aidan’s gray eyes were red and soulless–

like an endless pit of wrath, ready to be unleashed on whoever stepped
