Chapter Ninety

“Ms. Eileen, are you okay?” She asked as she squatted to her level on the floor and gently moved the paper that fell on her face.

“I thought you were in your room?”

Eileen hyperventilated as fear of being discovered took over her. She locked eyes with the maid and looked away almost instantly.

“Oh sorry Ava, I'm such a clutz, don't worry about me, just go about your business” She pulled herself and knelt, and she started picking up all the papers, trembling greatly.

She was just imploring in her heart that she wouldn't report this scene to Frederick or even worse her brother or father wouldn't meet her there picking up papers she wasn't supposed to see in the first place.

Her heartbeat was faster than a race car, her chest was going up and down without warning, and even though it was a cold night, sweat gathered on her forehead and dripped down without warning.

“Ms. Eileen?” Ava called as he picked up her phone that had slid to a flower pot on the side and gave it to her.
