Chapter Sixty-Four

“Don't get on my nerves more than you already have”

“I won't ask again!” He said sternly.

“Yes,” Casey said slowly but reluctantly.

He ended the call. He had no other choice but to call her. Calling their family doctor would probably take all the time in the world since he had never even met the man and he didn't want to go through the long process of calling his attorney or his lawyer for help hence Casey.

He sped through the busy streets and the road like a madman, breaking a couple of traffic rules. His one eye was fixed on Eileen who kept on babbling some gibberish utterance. Worry sliced across his face and settled on his eyes. It was almost past 8 PM now and he hadn't had anything since the day began; he was bearing the brunt of that as his stomach rumbled like a madman-exactly like the way he drove.
