Chapter Sixty-Three

Once he was done settling his affairs in the Caucus gym, he changed back into his clothes, got into his car, and drove to no particular destination.

Getting all that anger out was what he thought he needed but for some reason, seeing Jeremy’s broken hand or Jace’s puffed up and bruised face and dignity wasn't satisfactory enough. His throat was still tight and his heart was heavy. His stomach on the other hand swirled and threatened to spill the contents if there were even any because he hadn't had food all day. The anger was still evident, still ever-present. He grabbed the steering wheel and tightened his grip on it as if to wring the daylight out of it.

“Ding!”

“Ding!”

His attention went to his phone that was on the passenger seat, close to his jacket that he placed carelessly there. He saw the flash of light and the message pop up, his phone made as he pulled to a stop sign in the busy streets of the City. Since he was at a stop sign, he decided to check what the message was. H
