Chapter Sixty-Two

“Still waiting on that heartfelt apology” He resounded to Jeremy again, this time by digging the heels of his black sneakers into Jace’s neck.

“Tick Tock. Tick Tock.” He chuckled softly but grimly, casually crossing his hands on his back.

The choking sounds of Jace could be heard as he dug deeper. Jace tried to wriggle his neck free from his feet but it was fruitless. Jeremy on the other hand, just stood and watched as his friend was being choked out of his life; he cared more about his broken fingers. Noah; the gym owner placed his hands on his head in a frenzy as dread ran through him. He didn't want any trouble.

“Sir, please…” He stuttered as he dragged his words. “I don't need their apology, just let him go” He was inside the ring now, on his knees pleading not because he cared about Jeremy or his friend who always ran his gym like it was trash but because the gym was his life and any harm to them would destroy his business.
