Chapter Thirty-Three
"Good" He released his shoulders and stepped back closer to his father.

His father whispered to him as he was just inches away.

"Why do you feel that way? Like they're being treated inhumanely when they are only just doing their jobs?" His father asked with a puzzled look on his face.

Aidan let out a heavy sigh before answering him.

"Because I was once like them… In that same position, serving others" He spun and gazed at his father, his eyes fixated on his eyeballs. "I didn't enjoy it when I was treated like nothing but a piece of rag, and I wouldn't want to pour it on others."

"I'm surprised" His father shook his head.

"Why are you?" Aidan asked him, confusion written over his expression.

"One would think that with what you went through in your past life, that you would be a hardened person with a vicious heart… Ready to dish out what you were served, to others." His father spoke in a low tone, audible enough for Aidan to hear.

"Only to those who deserve it!" Aidan replied sc
