Triumph

As Elaina stood at a corner of the huge hall, staring at everyone, as they walked around with so much pride and elegance. She couldn't take her hands off the diamond necklace around her neck. It was too heavy on her neck, but still, it was still hard for her to keep her hands off it. The whole thing was like a dream to her, and she couldn't believe that the necklace actually belonged to her. It was way too good to be true.

"How did this happen?" Elaina asked herself, and she stole a quick glance at the diamond necklace. The whole thing happened so fast, and she was sure that if she didn't get an explanation about the whole...process, then she would end up losing her mind. The diamond on her neck was worth half a million dollars, Elaina guessed, and touched it again.

"Or even more expensive than that," she thought out loud, and decided to fix her gaze on the smart waitress, who had been walking around for the past five minutes.
