Chapter 18 - Punishment

"Hale," Julian called as he sat in his work chair and stared at a file he had to check.

Julian turned his chair, put the file on the table, and looked at Hale standing before his desk. Julian put both hands on the table and looked straight at Hale seriously. Hale saluted Julian and waited for the task he was about to give.

"I want you to teach someone a lesson," Julian said in a tone that sounded very angry.

"Who, sir?" Hale asked to make sure what he was thinking about was the same person Julian had in mind.

"Isadora Kingsley," Julian said the name steadily. "Don't let anyone know about this, especially not Aurora."

"Yes, sir." Hale nodded his head.

"Let me know where you take her and make sure it's far enough away from the city. Is that clear?"

"Clear, sir. I'll take two of my men to bring Isadora."

"Good, do it without any mistakes," Julian spoke like a much different person than before.
