That night, Aurora, Lucas, and their families were busy preparing for their wedding. Aurora can't do anything but comply with her family's wishes. Aurora sat silently in front of the makeup mirror with two makeup artists surrounding her.

There was a knock on the door that made Aurora turn her head in an instant. "Hi, can Papa come in?"

Aurora nodded her head with a flat expression. Aurora looked back at the mirror and let Sebastian walk over to her. Sebastian stood behind Aurora and flashed a bitter smile. Sebastian felt sad and happy at the same time.

"You look beautiful, Aurora." Sebastian complimented his daughter.

However, Aurora had no intention of reciprocating. Aurora was too sick to accept this fact. Aurora had to marry for a second time to someone she didn't love. Aurora was forced to go along with this for the sake of business, and it had all been planned by her mother, Felicity.

"Sorry, can you guys leave us alone? I want to talk to my daughter one-on-one." Sebastian asked the dressers to leave their work.

"Yes, sir." The two dressers quickly put down their things and left the room unceremoniously.

Sebastian made sure they were completely gone and closed the door again. Sebastian looked at Aurora and then approached her while holding both of his daughter's shoulders that were exposed due to the sleeveless outfit. Aurora just sighed heavily and was still staring straight at her reflection in the mirror.

"Aurora, please forgive me." Sebastian began with an apology. "I can't help you at a time like this. I can't refuse Mr. Beaumont's wishes; he's my most reliable business partner, and you know that."

Aurora snorted loudly and said nothing. Aurora looked down and tried to contain her emotions. Her tears were eager to fall down her cheeks, which were already beautifully decorated with blush. However, Aurora tried to restrain herself so that she looked strong enough to face this.

"Aurora, please say something. Papa is worried about you," Sebastian continued, walking over to his daughter and crouching down like a beggar.

Aurora immediately put up her head and didn't want to meet Sebastian's gaze. Aurora took a deep breath and tried to calm herself down before responding to Sebastian's words.

"What else do I need to say? Isn't everything clear?" Aurora said it in a slightly disapproving tone.

"Aurora," Sebastian called with a little sulk, and he tried to touch Aurora's hand.

Aurora immediately pulled it away and didn't want to be touched by Sebastian at all. Sebastian was surprised at Aurora's response. He felt even more guilty, but the rice had already become porridge, and all of this could not be undone.

"I apologize once again." Sebastian stood up and then left Aurora alone.

Aurora immediately bent her back, put both hands in front of her face, and cried. Aurora's chest felt very tight, but she could not let it out freely. Aurora could only hold it in and try to cover it all up by herself. Aurora realized that no one was on her side anymore, so she had to fend for herself.

The guests had started to arrive and filled Kingsley's house, especially in their backyard. Lucas is also at the altar, chatting with his friends as he waits for Aurora.

"Congratulations, bro; you're finally getting married." Elijah Vanderbilt raised his glass while embracing his friend.

"Thank you," Julian said, clinking his glass with Elijah's.

Shortly after, Felicity led Aurora to the altar, and instantly all eyes were on her. Lucas, who realized Aurora's arrival, immediately turned his head and put down his glass. Lucas smiled broadly at the sight of the beautiful Aurora in her wedding dress. Lucas immediately walked over to her and intended to take her to the altar to say their wedding vows.

"Are we close yet?" Julian, who was on his way, sounded panicked when his car was having trouble moving due to the traffic.

"Maybe in ten minutes, sir." The driver replied, giving an estimated time.

"No, I can't wait for another ten minutes." Julian panicked, then unlocked the car door and jumped out.

"Mr. Julian," shouted Hale, who panicked and immediately jumped out of the car. "Take this car to the location, I will accompany Mr. Julian."

"Yes, sir."

Without thinking, Hale immediately ran after Julian. Julian with his long legs stepped quickly onto the sidewalk and walked towards the place he wanted to go. Hale needed to half run to match his pace.

"Sir, please be careful. Don't be too hasty, your condition has not fully recovered." Hale tried to remind him.

However, Julian didn't seem to care about Hale's words. Julian's breath began to catch as soon as he was almost there. Hale, who saw Julian's back rising and falling quite strongly, immediately approached him. Hale tried to support Julian's body which had begun to limp.

"Sir, do you want to stop and rest first?" Hale asked worriedly.

"No, we'll be there in a minute." Julian replied with a short breath.

Julian's face had begun to look pale and cold sweat began to pour out. However, Julian did not want to give up so easily. Julian looked forward once again and could finally see the destination that was in sight. Julian smiled and quickened his pace again.

"Mr. Hale, wait here. I'll go in by myself," Julian said, releasing his arm from Hale's shoulder and immediately going inside.

"Sir!" Hale called out but was completely ignored.

Julian entered with sure steps and went straight to the location where everything was taking place. Julian could see with his two eyes that Aurora and the man were already standing at the altar. Julian's chest was pumping from exhaustion, and emotion made him even more pissed off. The wedding vows were almost done, and Julian boldly shouted from his position.

"STOP THAT!"

Of course, everyone was startled and looked back. Julian was stared at by dozens of pairs of eyes with questioning gazes.

"That's Aurora's husband, isn't it?" Felicity's friends started gossiping.

"Right, that's him. What's he doing here?"

Felicity, who heard all the words of her friends, immediately walked with steady steps towards Julian. Julian also walked firmly towards the altar. While on the other hand, Aurora immediately removed her hand from Lucas' and then went down the altar, approaching Julian.

"What are you doing here?" Felicity said it angrily while clenching her hands into fists.

Julian didn't look at Felicity at all; he was only focused on Aurora, who was also running towards him. However, the view was blocked once Felicity had stopped gallantly in front of Julian. Julian immediately looked sharply at Felicity with no other choice. The tension between the two of them was so strong that the people around them immediately pulled over and made room.

"How dare you come back here?" Felicity snapped while clenching her jaw.

"I won't let Aurora marry anyone else. She is my wife," Julian replied with a gaze that was ready to kill anyone who got in his way this time.

Felicity raised the corners of her lips and chuckled slightly. "Now you have the nerve to defy us. Don't you remember what we have given you? Were you never taught how to be grateful?"

Julian remained silent and listened to Felicity's ramblings.

"Ah, I forgot. You don't even have parents, you're an outcast child." Felicity tried to mentally attack Julian.

Julian was still silent, but his chest was already rising and falling, trying to contain all his emotions. Felicity, who realized it, immediately chuckled and tried to make Julian even hotter.

"Everyone!" Felicity called out for all the guests to pay attention to her. "Meet our adopted son, who is completely ungrateful and wants to ruin the wedding party tonight."

Felicity paused as she looked at Julian to see what his reaction would be.

"He loves my daughter, Aurora, very much. But how can I marry a man like this to my Aurora?" Felicity humiliated Julian again in front of everyone.

Aurora, who had been standing behind Felicity and staring at Julian, instantly stopped walking. Aurora froze in her position, and relaxed her body. If Aurora decided to keep going and approach Julian, then she would make things worse.

"That's right, he should have realized himself."

"He should be grateful that the Kingsley family is willing to take him in."

"He shouldn't have embarrassed himself in front of the crowd like he is now."

"Look at it—how unworthy he is to be side by side with Aurora."

All the rumors about the guests present also began to emerge. Everything can be captured by Julian's, who could hear it very clearly. Julian immediately stared around for a few moments and tried to brace himself once again.

"I am so grateful to Mr. Kingsley and his family for giving me a better life." Julian also began to reply to Felicity's words.

Felicity, who heard Julian's voice, immediately stared at him widely, incredulous.

"However, I won't let Aurora marry someone else either. When Aurora's status was still as my wife." Julian declared very proudly while looking at Aurora, who also didn't stop looking at him.

"I know that I don't deserve to be side by side with Aurora at this time, but I promise I will someday. Aurora and I both love each other."

Aurora smiled broadly while shedding happy tears when she listened to that sentence. Aurora decided to step back and approach Julian. Aurora passed by Felicity just like that, without thinking about what her mother could do.

"Aurora! Don’t you dare!" Felicity yells Aurora's name when Julian and Aurora are about to reunite.

Felicity, who had lost her temper, immediately took whatever was around her. Felicity intends to hit Julian so that he could leave this world and cannot see Aurora again. However, unfortunately, the stone she carried floated towards Aurora.

"Mama, stop!" Aurora tries to protect Julian by pushing Julian's body so that the stone Felicity is carrying does not hit his head.

Aurora managed to help Julian, but it was Aurora's head that had to be crushed by the stone.

"Aurora!" Everyone screamed hysterically.
