"Timothy! Watch out! There is someone-“ Timothy’s boss tried to warn him, but he was too late, Timothy was already bleeding, someone hit him at the back of his head. Timothy’s boss continued making such a painful face as if he was the one who got hurt, “Oh, ouch, that must have hurt…"
Timothy saw stars for a moment, and blood and wine were dripping out from his head; he was still dizzy, but he gained his composure and mocked his attackers, “What a cheap trick to hit behind my back.”
“It’s tactic, you piece of sh*t.”
“Yeah- a lazy one.” Timothy continued
Suddenly the attacker behind Timothy grabbed him and started to choke Timothy. He said to the ape looking man in front of him, “Boss, I got him to let's teach him some manners now."
The ape looking man didn't let this opportunity go and started to throw punches at Timothy simultaneously and powerful ones. Timothy couldn't do anything than receive those vicious hits to his stomach.
Timothy could feel each strike; he thought to himself, ‘Damn, they’re really pissed at boss… Ah, why did I have to get involved in his mess every time?’ Timothy started coughing and spitting blood. He feels light-headed, and his eyelids are getting heavier.
Timothy could barely stay awake. Ah crap… he feels weak. He knows he wouldn’t last long.
"Oh, my sweet flowers! I need to go and help poor Timothy out. I cannot watch how my employee gets trashed like that. It would leave a bad image of my company and especially about me." The boss said to the lady before spanking her bottoms and saw how the lady turned beet red instantly. The boss fixed his collar and steps into the fight.
The boss saw a young boy reeking of the smell of the street begging for change; the boss said to him, "You! Yes, you there! Go to the city guard and help them get here. I think we are going to need them later." He continued before throwing a silver coin at the young boy, “Please hurry up.”
The boss checked his clock and muttered to himself, “Ah… this will take a minute of my precious time.”
He diverts his gaze to the chair by the bar; the boss said to the bartender, "Bartender, I'm sorry, but I have to use this. Don't worry; I will pay the property damages back later."
After that, he took the chair under him before raising it up and started swinging towards the ape's back. He was fast and strong.
"Boss! Watch out! The skirt chaser is behind you with a chair!" However, the man holding Timothy was quicker and, just in time, warned the ape who dodged the chair. It ended up hitting Timothy straight to the face.
Timothy groaned from pain, “Ah, seriously?!”
"Oh, Timothy, when did you get there? I'm sorry; I didn't mean to hit you with the chair.
Maybe you should thank me as I think the chair fixed your ugly face." The boss said while looking at Timothy.
Timothy, who was released from the other man's strong grip, said to his boss, "Silas, I knew you always hated me, but I still try to save your sorry ass again! If this is the way you pay back to me, I'm quitting!"
"I would be more worried about the ape and his friend as they seem angrier now. I guess apes' friend learned that I was wooing his girl as well?" Silas tried to guess out loud, and when the other man heard it, he suddenly shouted out.
"You fucker, you did what? Did you also dare to touch my wife while wooing my boss's wife at the same time? I'm going to kill you!" The man got enraged and suddenly drew a knife out while running towards Silas.
"Oh my bad, things got spicier it seems, so watch out, Timothy," Silas said before jumping on the other side of the bar table.
Timothy, whose head was still spinning, suddenly cursed out when he saw the man with a knife closing in, “Silas, you’re a real mess.”
“Hey, try looking at yourself in the mirror.” Silas teased
Timothy managed to block the income attack, but resulting in him getting a nasty scratch that immediately caused his hand to start bleeding.
"Why are you defending that skirt chaser? Let me kill that slippery bastard!" The man shouted out while the ape was slowly approaching at Silas.
Everyone halted as someone entered the bar pointing guns at them; the imposing man had a curly mustache, he exclaimed, “Order now! Everyone stand down! The city guard is now present! Everyone who dares to move before the investigation is over will be either fined or will be sent straight to jail!"
The ape and his accomplice gritted their teeth as they gave Timothy and Silas a nasty look; they were pinned down to the ground with their hands behind their backs; the ape threatened, “You’re dead.”
“Oh, officer, a death threat,” Silas says sarcastically, obviously teasing
"Timothy and Silas! I should have known that the two of you are behind the commotion again. There are only seven days at the week, but I think you have managed to make this captain busy eight days a week. You really are impossible! I'm really looking forward to hearing your explanation this time." The captain of the guards said while looking at Silas.
"Fenton, my friend, I didn't do anything else than kept company to these two beautiful ladies who can confirm my part of the story.” Silas began as he winked at the two ladies as they immediately swoon over his charms
Captain Fenton sighed and said sarcastically, “I’m sure they will.”
“I offered them some drinks before this ape suddenly started to be rude and threatened me. Luckily my friend Timothy stepped inside. He saw how the brute cornered me and asked him to step down. Of course, he did not listen to good Timothy but suddenly attacked him instead. Then the ape friend turned violent as well and drew a knife out. As you can see, he almost managed to kill him." Silas immediately started to explain, and he was glib with his tongue.
Fenton, who saw Timothy's current state and couldn't say anything, he sighed once again and then ordered his men to get reports from the witnesses to confirm the story.
"I don't know how you manage always to do this, Silas, but you are again free to leave with Timothy. You will just survive with a small fine of fifty silver coins," Fenton said while looking at Silas, who was always giving him headaches.
Before they left, Timothy placed a delivery order to Marie, and when they were outside, Silas looked around them, making sure the officer was gone.
"Timothy, you saved me again, but go to see the doctor now you are in bad condition. Don't worry, of course; I will pay it for you." Silas said while giving a pat at Timothy's back, “Do me a favor and fix your face, okay?”
"When you go to the office, look at the recommendation paper I left for you. I saw a person who might be the one we are looking for," Timothy said before trying to drag his sorry ass body back to the clinic where he just came from.
"Okay, Timothy, I will read it through and tell you later about the decision," Silas shouted before also leaving.
“What? Where are you going now?” Timothy protested
“Just… somewhere.” Silas smirked, as Timothy replied back, “Ah, you’re off to make some more trouble, consider me out.”
"Don't say you got in trouble again? I can feel it. “ Marie said as Silas arrived, trying to hide from her; she continued, “No, I actually don't want to know as I still have all of these papers that you pushed at me on.” Silas laughed jokingly and said, “Don’t say that. You’re the best there is, after all.” “Timothy left you something at your table," Marie said as she rolls her eyes, then she averts her gaze, looking at her boss, tired of his behavior. "Marie, my sweet Marie, do you know how much I do love that attitude of yours? You also know I'm useless with paperwork and better at making connections and money, right?" Silas said while looking at Marie, who suddenly grabbed the closest object from her, that was an inkbottle, and threw it at her boss. "Ayay!" Silas caught it and said, "Marie, you are lucky that the ink bottle is closed and not open. “You know I'm not a masochist, but for you, I will make an exemption and let you dominate me a
Silas was so excited and was experiencing such a thrill. He was rushing his way to meet Arwin that he didn't saw the people, so he ended up bumping into lots of objects and people without caring about them and just getting up and continuing running. He says carefreely, “Sorry about that; I’m about to meet someone truly remarkable!” Everyone looked at him- all were estranged, but he didn’t care. Silas has his eyes set on meeting Arwin. Finally, when he got to the office, he barged inside, making the employees jump up for their seats, scaring some of them completely. They were remarking, “You scared the crap out of us. Why are you here?” The guards automatically threw their weapons out, but when they saw that Silas was unarmed, they placed their swords in halfway on their scabbard, ready to draw them at any time if Silas would show any signs of hostility. Silas was welcomed with protests, “Silas, what the hell was that? Do you kno
"Timothy, how did you get in that condition so quickly? Oh wait- let me guess- was it because Silas and some woman once again?" The doctor said while starting to rummage through his medical equipment. Timothy coughed roughly and said, “Well, what else do you expect?” "Sit down, you know the drill, and that this will hurt a little bit. Just bear with it." The doctor said as he started to clean the wounds on Timothy's head. "Argh! Even though I have gone through this so many times, it always stings like hell." Timothy was complaining while trying not to make any sounds bearing the pain as usual, “How does it look, Doc?” The doctor teased him, “Apart from all the mess I’ve seen you in? This is just a playground scratch for you.” Timothy laughs, fighting the urge to scream in pain. The doctor saw how much pain he was in, and he explained. "It's even worse when there is dried alcohol and pieces of shattered glass all over your hair or skin,
"Y..yo...you are saying that she is that Arwin? She wrote this all? A...and I just made an identification card for a male when it should have been made for a female?" Silas finally muttered out as he sat down on the nearest chair, concerned, “Are you trying to curse me for what I did earlier? Are you kidding me right now?” Silas looked at the doctor to confirm this. The doctor looked away as he chuckled nervously, “Ah, yes, she’s a woman.” "Yes, that is what I'm saying. Who asked you to rush things without even meeting the person first? This is entirely your fault, Silas." Timothy said out while looking at Silas, almost mockingly. He was really having fun seeing his boss like that. It felt like the perfect payback for what happened earlier; Timothy can’t help but grin. "You know, Timothy, this small card costs fifty gold coins now. It cannot be undone when it's done once. So, if you don't want to pay the new one from your own salary, and this one top of it, y
Timothy told Rosa everything that had happen earlier- trying to make it sound less gruesome and violent as it originally was. After retelling the events earlier, Rosa said to him, "You know I have never liked Silas. He is just an annoying asshole. I still don't know why you are working under him. Ah, my poor husband." She reached out and carefully touched his chest, “I think you should consider quitting.” "Me neither, my dear Rosa, I don’t like him- not even by a little BIT. Still, I have to try and endure a little bit, my sweetheart.” Timothy’s eyes sparked with determination as he continued, “I have a plan; listen to me. All of this enduring is to get money to start a life here again as in the mainland, it didn't work out, and we both have fallen love with this continent already. I always thought that if I endured and managed to find a mechanic for Silas who could rebuild or repair the airship, we can steal it after that. For the crew, of course, we would t
The next morning arrived as the sun touches Timothy’s face. He woke up; he immediately ate breakfast before heading towards the doctor's clinic His wife was still cooking some food; Rosa tried to stop him and shouts, “Are you leaving already? I cooked you your favorite!” “Thanks! I’ll be having them later! Save me some, okay?” Timothy shouts back as he left. He was more than eager to meet Arwin, but as he stepped inside, he saw Mark cleaning the office like usual. He thought of Mark as some clean freak kind of guy. Timothy’s eyes immediately searches for her clinic bed, and there he saw Arwin was still peacefully sleeping. It was a relief for him. "Hello, Mark, is the old man awake yet?" Timothy asked. Before the other man could answer, the doctor shouted out. "Yes, I'm in the kitchen. Come and join me for a cup of tea." “Well, you heard him,” Mark replied with such a straight face, he rarely shows emotions, and when he does- i
Arwin looked confusedly around her; she didn't recognize the current room where she was, but she recognized it as a clinic after watching a little bit around of her and seeing all of the things related to medicine. She could feel his head throbbing, an intense pain making her uncomfortable. She suddenly remembered how scare she felt last night. Arwin knew she couldn’t hear anything. But before she has the time to worry about herself, she suddenly saw an old man coming out from a door, and she put her guard up, but when she saw Timothy behind the old man, she relaxed somewhat before saying. It was a familiar silhouette, Arwin thought. She recognized the young man. "You saved me? Thank you so much, and sorry for being a burden. I haven't even caught your name, and you already brought me to a clinic." Arwin says as she sat back down on her hospital bed. "My name is Timothy, and the man next to me is Jonn, even when we mostly call him an old man o
When the doctor had gotten halfway through his story Timothy came in and asked immediately, "John, is Arwin at the condition to walk now, or do I have to wait?" "She's fine to walk; she just finished eating also, but take it slowly first and no fights or anything, okay?" The doctor replied curiously. It was interesting to see Timothy act urgently. “I can’t promise that, but I’ll make sure Arwin won’t be back here getting treatment from you today.” Timothy smiled mischievously The doctors smiled as he shook his head in disappointment. "Okay. Arwin, I think I found your pistol, but they refused to sell it to me, saying that you are the only one who can buy it directly. They were snickering and clearly looking down on you. They said you have this week to buy it before the auction as per rules. I have your papers here, and we can go there and demand your pistol. They even dare to laugh at my face when I said your name. They said I am a friend of wannabe f
