Silence stretched with Acer, waiting for a hung up or a reprimand that never came. Her boss was still on the phone. She could hear him breathing heavily as if he were in the same room as her. He was furious, his hands clenched into fists. He wanted to hear her out for unknown reasons.As much as he despised admitting it, he needed to hear his team out. While the organization was trying to figure out how to get to her safe room without being detected by the thermal cameras, Texas was cleaning up the blood that had splattered all over the floor despite her efforts to cover it in plastic. While the pledgers were debating who was forming alliances with whom, the Commando arrived in Texas. Everything was ready and waiting for him. The team he found walked him through on the space blanket and how to use it. He had a small window of opportunity to go in, insert a new chip in Texas, and stake out the safe room before anyone noticed.Acer was very excited about the mission. She couldn't wait to see Texas's expression when she realized she wasn't so untouchable. She sat down and waited.The organizers had already taken advantage of the alliances that the pledgers seemed to be focused on and froze the cameras on Texas' farm to some hours behind while the leader, organisers and Acer watched the live feeds.
