The Pauper is Hidden Heir

Chapter 7

Everyone suddenly panicked. Wildly when people dressed all in black stared at them one by one. The gaze was so creepy that it made their guts shrink. But Cesare looked very calm.

There were five of them, and one of them came forward and showed a letter that he carried in his hand. "I have come to inform you that Ricky Torny, Julie Webster and Jolie Webster have been arrested."

Of course, the three of them widened their eyes simultaneously. They had no idea who the five creepy people were, but they had suddenly come and handed them an arrest warrant.

"What the hell is this? You can't arrest us." Ricky tried to strengthen his guts to face the big muscular man.

"You've made a huge mistake. And the police have given orders to bring you in for immediate arrest." The big muscular man spoke very harshly and firmly. Every time he spoke, his neck veins were visible. And it looked terrifying.

"We don't even think we've committed a crime. You'd better get out of here!" Julie was so panicked that she dared to yell at the muscular man. But after hearing Julie's shout, the man's gaze turned to her. The man glared at Julie until Julie could only lower her gaze.

"You are already guilty, but you dare to raise your voice at me?" The big muscular man stared at Julie, who was looking down in fear. He could even see Julie's body trembling slightly.

"But we are sure that we have done nothing wrong." Ricky didn't let the muscular man grin in front of his girlfriend until he said, "You seem to have misunderstood."

"You talk too much. You should just follow along because you have a big mistake to account for at the police station." The other man chimed in. He was so fed up with their babbling that he shouted out loud and scared the living daylights out of them. He even pounded on the table.

"You can't just arrest us. At least you can tell us what we did wrong. People like us, of course, will never make mistakes. But I know who has done something wrong." Jolie spoke up. This time her eyes were fixed on Cesare. And made everyone there also stare at Cesare.

When Jolie said that and looked at him, Cesare thought the old woman was up to something. Finally, the old woman raised her hand and pointed at Cesare.

"He is the only guilty person here." Jolie still raised her hand to point at Cesare's face.

"Yes, that's right. He is the guilty one. Maybe you can take him away with you." Very nervously, Julie ventured to comment. She also pointed Cesare at the five creepy people.

"Yes, you may have made a mistake in saying you were going to arrest us. But he is the one who is guilty. He did make a lot of mistakes. He also often steals and does fatal work. Maybe you can take him away from this place right now."

Ricky did not remain silent. He also pointed at Cesare and said terrible things about him in front of the men in black. Ricky even accused Cesare of nasty things.

"That's right. I even saw Miss Julie scold him because he made a very fatal mistake. And I'm sure that he's the guilty one. Perhaps you have brought the wrong accusation letter." The man in the dark blue suit joined in the accusation. And that made Julie smile a little because she felt satisfied when her people were on her side.

"Rotten people like you, of course, can never admit a mistake." Cesare smiled slightly. Although everyone was accusing him, there was no look of anxiety on Cesare's face, in fact, he said it very calmly.

"You don't need to say much. You often make big mistakes. You'd better prepare yourself to go with them." Ricky snapped at Cesare. But Cesare was still very calm.

"You're the one who talks too much. You are the one who is guilty and arrested because you have sold human beings. And that's strictly forbidden." The big muscular man explained. And the three people were immediately shocked. And the most scared one was Julie. She was the one who had sold Cesare to someone, even though she had gotten the idea from her boyfriend.

"No, it's not. That is simply not true. You have made false accusations against us." Ricky dismissed the accusation and allowed Julie to loosen the tightness in her chest.

"Yes, it's not true," Julie added. She also thought that if Cesare had been here, he could have defended himself a bit.

They didn't think Cesare reported them because they were sure that Cesare didn't have much money to make a report about himself. They only knew that Cesare was a loser who had nothing but his pride.

Everyone was panicked and scared when they heard the accusations against the Webster family. They wondered if Cesare had reported them? But they felt that was highly unlikely.

"These are not false accusations. But all of this has been proven true because there is an arrest warrant from the prosecutor's office to arrest you." The man in black explained again.

Everyone who heard that was instantly shocked. They exchanged glances until finally focusing on the three suspects. They didn't expect the accusations to be true.

Jolie sighed angrily. Then she approached the big muscular man and looked at her colleagues individually. Then she said to the man who had been urging her to arrest him.

"Looks like you don't know who we are. I am Jolie Webster, if you do anything wrong to me, you will definitely get into big trouble." Julie whispered to one of the men who had been pressing her. She emphasized a big word to make the man feel afraid.

Jolie smiled again and whispered to the man, "Just say what you want. The Webster family will give you whatever you want."

Unexpectedly, the five men in black showed their fierce faces. They were gritting their teeth after hearing Jolie's last sentence. They were not at all happy that Jolie would bribe them.

"You should have kept your words. Do you think we're cheap? You're adding insult to injury by bribing us." The man put both hands on his waist and gave Jolie a sinister look.

Everyone there heard him as the men in black cursed at Jolie Webster. Instantly, everyone began to whisper about Jolie Webster's behaviour.

"Oh my, is she trying to bribe those security guards?" The blonde-haired woman pointed at Jolie Webster, and everyone joined her in staring. And, of course, it made Jolie feel very panicked.

"C-calm down. I didn't mean it like that. We can talk this through." Jolie suddenly panicked so much that she spoke nervously. She couldn't defend herself at all.

But it was too late. The five men simply could not hear Jolie's request to talk nicely. Clearly, Jolie wanted to bribe her, and that would be demeaning to them.

"What you said is very clear. You will get multiple charges for this misconduct." The big muscular man affirmed, which scared Julie and Jolie to death.

"I am not the Webster family. And I wasn't involved in anything they did. You can't arrest me." Ricky tried to defend himself, to Julie's great surprise.

"You'll still be arrested for drug use."

The man also gave Ricky an affirmation that made Ricky unable to move.
