You Can Leave

“Why, of all people, do I have to meet this crazy woman here?” Sean commented to himself. Something disgusted Sean when he saw Caron on his beautiful morning.

“Hey, are you not only poor but also dumb?” Caron insulted Sean again. The woman seemed unhappy that Sean could live.

“It turns out that even five-star restaurants don’t have rules for not allowing an animal to enter here,” Sean quipped in a bitter tone. Sean would let no one insult him again, not to mention that the amount of money in his account was now very large.

So Sean felt very capable if he wanted to slap Caron with all the money he had.

“What are you saying?” Caron scolded. All this time, Sean always kept quiet when he was humiliated. Caron did not expect Sean would reply to him like that.

“I said that the servants of this place are so bad that even wild animals can enter it,” Sean replied, crossing his arms over his chest. Sean also did not forget to smile and insult Caron, who had wrongly chosen him as an opponent.

“You!” Caron sent her hand towards Sean, but Sean caught it.

“Hey, lady, please watch that hand of yours!” Sean, of course, caught Caron’s hand. The man also pressed Caron’s hand, so the woman realized she was just a weak woman.

“Hey, let go of my lover’s hand,” Caron’s boyfriend, who had been silent, was now trying to defend Caron.

“What lover? I didn’t realize, dude. You have such poor taste,” Sean mocked the man, stroking Caron’s arm, reddened from Sean’s hand grip.

“Son of a bitch!” Caron’s boyfriend was furious when Caron was insulted in front of his eyes, and the young man gripped Sean’s shirt collar. However, with his collar grabbed, Sean smiled at the ugly man.

“Did you just see how uncomfortable your customers are here?” Sean said to the servers who saw him. Sean, of course, knew the waitpersons were afraid of him leaving. The food he had ordered must have been very expensive, and the waitpersons couldn’t afford to replace it with their meagre salaries.

Hearing what Sean said, the male waitpersons took their stand.

The server pulled his girlfriend, Caron, away from Sean. “Please, both of you, leave here. Don’t let me call the police.” The server, of course, exclaimed.

While Sean, who noticed it, could only laugh, amused, Sean did not expect the power of money to be so pleasant. He didn’t need to act; others would do whatever he said.

“Let go of my boyfriend!” snapped Caron, who was humiliated to see himself treated like that. “Do you know he is a poor man? He won’t be able to pay for the food here!” Caron continued, while Sean just smiled, since he saw how crazy the attitude of the woman he once admired was.

Hearing what Caron said, the server fell silent. The man looked at Sean for an answer because he didn’t want to be on the wrong side.

“Do you believe the words of a madman? If that’s what you believe, then I’m going out.” Sean casually stood up from his seat. Sean, at this time, did not need to explain himself to others.

“No, sir, and you can leave.” Sean’s threat certainly scared the employees.

“Please come out. I want to eat. Don’t let these wild animals spoil my appetite,” said Sean with a winning smile.

Seeing Caron’s upset face and his girlfriend Caron’s emotional face made Sean feel very happy. At least this time, Sean could vent his pain, even if only a little.

“Just look at you!” Before being completely expelled, Caron did not forget to threaten Sean, but Sean did not care. Now Sean’s attention was only drawn to the steak and wine served by the servers.

With a happy feeling, Sean enjoyed his luxurious breakfast. Fries and some vegetables accompanied the steak. Small buns were also served. At this time, Sean felt that he had gotten his little paradise because, since last night, he had been really hungry.

“It’s not bad to be rich. Ah, what should I do again? Do I need to buy new clothes? Ah, it seems that the choice is not bad,” said Sean after I satisfied him with his ordered dishes.

After paying and giving a sizable tip to the servers who had entertained him, Sean immediately stepped into the nearest mall. He had long wanted to lend his feet to the mall, but with all the mediocre money he had made, Sean did not want to be humiliated by stepping foot in the high-class place.

With Sean casually stepping into branded outlets, the man immediately took all the needed items. However, when choosing a jacket, Sean instead met his college friend.

“Sean, do you work here now?” asked the tall man with a disdainful look. The man was Harry, the one looking for trouble for Sean the other day.

“Not? Ah, why would a hobo like you be here? Don’t you know that it could contaminate the clothes here because of you?” Harry continued to mock Sean.

“I’m confused. Why does God always bring me together with crazy people?” Instead of answering, Sean monologues while continuing to choose the jacket in front of him. For Sean, seeing Harry’s ugly face would only spoil his good mood.

“How dare you? Server!” shouted Harry in annoyance. Harry didn’t want to hit Sean directly, but Harry wanted to humiliate Sean even more by quickly throwing the man out in public.

“What’s wrong, sir?” One of the male servers in a suit approached Sean and Harry with a confused look. The server certainly didn’t want any commotion in his workplace because his boss would scold him if that happened.

“Why did you let this beggar enter your place? Do you want other visitors to be uncomfortable?” said Harry fiercely. Harry knew the server would immediately kick Sean out of his own accord.

“I’m sorry, sir, but,” the server hung her words. Sean remained silent, picking up one of the jackets he thought would fit him.

“But what, do you want this place tainted?” snapped Harry, who felt his protest was not taken well.

“Server, please put this in with my other clothes and get rid of this guy quickly.

Otherwise, don’t blame me for telling this to your manager.” This time it was Sean who threatened back. Sean didn’t care about Harry.

For Sean, right now, he just needed to go back to his apartment to buy a new apartment because the rental apartment he was currently living in was too cramped and stuffy for him.

“Yes sir, security, please take this person out.” The server, of course, supported Sean. Sean had already spent a lot of money at their place. If such a server complained, he might not get his monthly bonus.

“Let me go. You’ve got the wrong person!” Harry, of course, rebelled at being dragged away like that, but the security pulling on him was so strong that again and again, it was Sean who won and Harry who had no face in public anymore.

“You scum!” taunted Sean before security dragged Harry away. Sean was really happy today. His day was so beautiful.

“I’ll come back here again, but on one condition: don’t let that lunatic in again because once I see him here, then don’t blame me for choosing the next store.”

When paying for his clothes, Sean did not forget to threaten the workers in the shop.

Sean didn’t want to do that, but remembering how Harry threw dirty clothes in his face made Sean wish to avenge him.

“Where am I going tonight?” said Sean while walking around the mall. Sean was still thinking about what to do. Usually, at this hour, he was working. However, with the money he now had, Sean certainly wouldn’t do that again.

“Didn’t that girl invite me? What was her name? If I’m not mistaken, her name is Karen, maybe,” said Sean, who just remembered the invitation he got.

“It seems like the necklace in that place is good, so I might as well see how the others react,” Sean said confidently.

The clothes Sean wore were now branded, and the ratty t-shirt the man threw in the trash so that when he entered the jewelry sales place, the people there welcomed him very kindly.

“Pretty girl for a pretty necklace, too. Consider it a little charity for me. All girls are the same anyway because they are all hypocrites,” Sean said in his heart as he picked up a blue necklace. The necklace was very beautiful, but Sean didn’t care.

For Sean, at this time, he only needed to bring a gift, and whether it was good or not, he didn’t care. The important thing for Sean was that the price was high, which was more than enough to show his sincerity.

After ensuring the gift was wrapped neatly, Sean bought a mini apartment for himself. The condo was a little small, but it needed to be more stuffy for him, and most importantly, it was close to his college.

“Who invited him? Why is that poor man here?” people said as they watched the man they had despised change his appearance.
