Chapter 7 - The King Of Evil

Riko slowly opened his eyes and moaned softly. His head throbbed painfully. He frowned to look around but couldn't see clearly because his eyes were nearsighted.

"W-where am I?" Riko muttered softly.

 "Who are you?!"

Riko flinched in surprise when the loud scream pierced his ears. That voice is already familiar. He looked around to find the owner of the vote. A second later, he realized he was being shackled with his arms hanging down.

"What is this?!" Riko tried to free his hands but to no avail.

"Don't expect you can to escape from my prison!" A man wearing a crown of snakes suddenly stood in front of Riko with a fiery red gaze.

 Riko was stunned. "Aren't you...!"

Draco frowned with a cold face. "Who exactly are you? Are you Morwen's accomplice?"

Shit! Why can't my mouth ever cooperate?! Riko cursed his foolishness for suddenly talking with a devil.

"Quickly answer me. If you don't want to …!" Draco drew his snake-handled sword from its scabbard. "I kill you!"

"N-no! I'm not Morwen's accomplice! I don't even know that person! I'm only human!" Riko snapped.

"You think I'm stupid?" Draco gripped Riko's jaw so tightly and glared at him.

Riko had to hold his breath when the man's face was so close. Draco's breath made Riko's hairs on his neck stand up.

 "Trust me!"

Draco chuckled while he released Riko's jaw roughly. "You are stubborn! You're just like Morwen!" He was about to slash Riko's neck with a sword.

"Please don't kill me! I still want to live!" Riko was crying hysterically.

Draco smirked derisively. "I didn't expect Morwen to order a loser to spy on me. Has he run out of soldiers yet?"

Riko hated always being associated with a man named "Morwen".

"I don't know Morwen, so please let me go. I want to go home."

"Let you go?" Draco grinned viciously. "There's no way I'm letting go of someone who already dares to bully me."

"B-but I didn't do anything to harm you, right?!" Riko defended himself.

"You dare to spy on me from afar. Your actions are very suspicious!" Draco glared at Riko angrily. "Even you intend to finish me for slaughtering citizens!"

Riko was silent, unable to deny it.

Shit! Can he read my mind?

Indeed he had intended to kill that ferocious man with his own hands. Draco's sharp gaze conveyed two meanings. First, he wanted to tear himself apart. Second, the ferocious man seemed to be probing Riko's brain.

"Trust me! I'm just an ordinary human who is lost. I absolutely have no intention of doing evil that could harm you." Riko lied.

Now Riko realized how strong Draco was to make all the strange creatures kneel at his feet. The aura that emanates from men is powerful and evil. He seemed to have a mighty power that could destroy the earth.

'Maybe killing that fierce man was just a dream,' Riko thought, disappointed. 'If I was reckless, I would only die in vain.'

Riko's hopes ran aground. From this moment on, he decided to let his parents die. He intends to change life's direction, namely to pursue ideals and live everyday life without remembering past grudges.

 Although it is very difficult.

To be honest, Riko hated finding himself like a loser in front of Draco, just as Edward bullied him.

 "Your Majesty, please speak."

Riko turned to the winged girl white bird. The girl was so beautiful that Riko didn't blink for a moment. Her long white hair reached the floor decorated with various blue flowers.

 "What is that?"

"The commander-in-chief wants to meet you, Lord. He said he has something important to report."

Draco returned the sword in the scabbard to his waist and glanced at Riko sarcastically. "Our business is not finished," he cursed, leaving the girl and Riko.

"Please let me go," Riko begged. Judging from her pretty face, he's sure that girl still has a conscience.

"Who are you? Are you really an intruder?" Reyna asked sharply.

"I'm not an intruder! I have absolutely nothing to do with Morwen or anything! I'm just a human trapped in your world! So, please let me go! I'm going home and never coming back here!" Riko spoke in one hot tug.

"Human?" The girl winced. "What's that?"

Riko gaped in shock. "Are you kidding?!"

"How do I know you're human?" He glanced at Riko sarcastically.

Riko snorted harshly. "I don't have time to explain. Quick, please let me go before that man returns. Please…."

"I have no responsibility to let you go." The girl just left.

"Hey! Wait! You can't leave me! I will die if you don't save me! Hey!" Riko screamed in panic.

The girl disappeared behind the wall.

"Shit!" Riko's hopes were instantly dashed. "It turns out that all creatures are equally evil. It doesn't matter whether they are beautiful or ugly!" Riko grumbled.

"Hey, you."

Riko suddenly looked in all directions but found no one.

Shit! Now, who is that?!

 "Hey!"

The mysterious voice sounded again. Riko sharpened his eyes and looked around anxiously. If he was slightly off guard, his life would be in danger.

 "Hey."

 Who's is that?

 "Hey. I'm upstairs."

Riko looked up at the roof. His eyes widened perfectly when he found a man with black wings looking at him from the ventilation.

 "Wh-who are you?!"

The man broke the vent to make it bigger, then went downstairs.

Riko panicked. "Wh-who are you? Don't hurt me!"

Without saying anything, the man approached Riko and made him scream hysterically. However, the man shot a small laser from his finger to mute Riko's mouth.

Riko screamed, but no sound came out.

Shit! What did he do to me?! Why did my voice suddenly disappear?! Riko thought, panicked and irritated.

The ferocious man immediately drew a sword covered in black flames.

Riko becomes increasingly violent and struggles to escape. He didn't want to die at the demon's hand. However, all his efforts were in vain. The shackles that chained his hands and feet became even more robust.

'Please, don't kill me! I don't want to die in vain!' Riko screamed hysterically in his heart, hoping the creature could hear him.

SRET!

 "Do not …!"
