The Power of The Dominant Husband

Fiona's gaze became colder. "Please, don't cause trouble at my workplace, Samuel." she bowed her head, holding back tears and hoping that Samuel would leave the office soon. For the first time, she was really very disappointed with Samuel. 

Samuel remained calm. "I just want you to rethink that decision."

Anthonio couldn't contain himself for too long. Samuel's arrival would only have a bad influence. And that would be the same as doubting all his decisions and work so far. 

"Stop being a smartass here." His voice was hard and full of emphasis. Anthonio's eyes flashed as they locked eyes. "You don't know anything. No one will listen to you, including your wife, but you're so stubborn."

Anthonio's gaze shifted to Fiona. The woman's face had turned red. He knew she was holding back the shame of her husband's actions. 

"You should have left a useless man like him long ago." Anthonio deliberately burned Fiona. On this occasion, it would be easy to influence Fiona. "He doesn't even benefit you in any way. Instead, he'll drown you."

"Everyone knows that you're a smart woman. And you shouldn't have to put up with a man like him." He stopped his sentence momentarily, looked at Samuel, and continued. "He will only make you ashamed and suffer for the rest of your life."

Everyone joined him in urging hi, on. Meanwhile, Samuel stood calmly. All the insults did not affect him; he just wanted to remind Fiona to be careful when taking action. But Samuel knew that Fiona doubted him. 

Elsewhere, Adam had just gotten out of his car. Looking at the clock on his hand, he felt anxious. "It seems that I'm already too late to meet with Master Samuel. Is he okay now?"

Without straightening his suit, he quickly walked into the building. He headed to the Lotus room. But he did not find Samuel there. 

"Did Master Samuel get lost?" Adam regretted himself. He should have escorted Samuel to the room before leaving him. 

Adam turned around and looked elsewhere. But just as he got out of the elevator by accident, he saw a crowd of people. Of course, this piqued his curiosity. "What's going on over there?"

He could see that everyone standing around was tense. "Is Master Samuel there?"

Adam came closer, but he was shocked. Not only did he see Samuel there, but everyone was treating him so badly. 

"Quickly drag him away from here. His arrival only brings trouble!" Anthony's loud voice made Adam's anger flare up even more. 

"How dare you do something like that to him." Adam shouted with rage. He felt his blood flowing rapidly. No one should have humiliated Samuel so severely. 

Everyone turned around. Those who were there noticed Adam's appearance. He was well dressed and neat, believing he was an important man. But they didn't know who Adam was. And he shouldn't be meddling in their affairs either. 

Anthonio looked at Adam, catching his rapid breathing. "He's just a poor man. He's not part of this company either. Let him be thrown out of Medco.inc."

It was strange that the well-groomed man showed such anger. He even stood beside Samuel in support. "Stop that stupid stuff. You all know nothing!"

After that shout, Anthonio fell silent. He took one more look at Adam's appearance. All the clothes on his body were branded, and even the shoes he wore had a price tag of at least ten million dollars. He was even more convinced that Adam was no ordinary person. 

"Mr. Samuel is the owner of Lezzen Company." Adam said that to everyone. 

This was very surprising. Lezzen Company was a large company that Medco. Inc. had been looking to work with. Lezzen Company was bigger and more potent than Medco. Inc., and those who work at Medco. Inc. are not necessarily able to work there. 

This doesn't make sense. And how could such a big company be led by a man like Samuel? Not only is he poor, but he has no experience. He doesn't even deserve to be a gardener there. 

Anthonio shook his head. "It's all impossible." He refused firmly. 

Fiona immediately wondered if her husband might have been playing a trick. She wanted to stop this immediately, not wanting things to get worse. "Samuel, stop all this nonsense. And tell me the truth."

Fiona urged Samuel. She took hold of Samuel's dull sleeve. Then, he shook his arm. "Don't talk nonsense, or it will get you into even bigger trouble. Don't embarrass me."

Fiona was on the verge of tears. She didn't expect her husband to get her into trouble. 

Samuel calmed her down. He held her hand gently. "But he said the right thing. I am the leader of the new Lezzen Company."

"Fiona you have to believe me." Samuel emphasized. He even looked into Fiona's eyes. Wanting Fiona to get rid of her doubts. "I said everything correctly."

Adam, who was there, nodded his head. "Miss Fiona, you don't need to doubt your husband."

Fiona was silent as she watched Adam closely. She didn't know why Adam was so serious about it. Great doubts were still lodged in her heart. 

Samuel held her hand tightly. "You have to listen to me, Fiona."

"Corporindo's stock is really bad, and it caused the stock price in Medco. inc. to drop." he exhaled this time. Then he continued, "You can see it on the internet. All that news has probably spread slowly by now."

Fiona didn't say anything, but a strong urge in her heart made her take out her cell phone and look into the truth. At this moment, she was surprised to find out that everything Samuel said was true.

She should have seen some news spread.

They were about the corporation's declining performance and rumors that went against the law. Although they were not specific, they were true, as Samuel said that they would affect his company. 

"Undo that partnership, or things will end up worse." Samuel's voice made her raise her head. 

"Medco.inc cannot cooperate with Corporindo. Besides, Medco.inc will soon be cooperating with Lezzen Company."

Everyone was amazed to hear that question. One of them became excited. "Lezzen Company, that's an amazing company. It's certainly much better than Corporindo."

Anthonio couldn't believe it. Knowing that everything was just a trick. A man like Samuel would never be able to become a leader in a big company. He was confident that Samuel was far beneath him. 

"How can you believe that trash talk? It's certainly not possible."

"Don't forget that he is a useless husband and lives like a parasite." he pressured Samuel to do so. 

At the same time, someone appeared. He was the director of Medco. Inc. and immediately came to confront Adam. "Mr. Adam, are you here? You should have come to my office."

"Even if you said you were coming beforehand, I will make you welcome." The Director was being very polite. He even put his hands together with a slight bow. 

Anthonio was astonished. He looked at the Director with confusion. "Actually, who is he, sir? Since earlier, he's been meddling in this affair."

The Director glanced at him coldly. "He is an important person from Lezzen Company."

Adam glanced at Anthonio coldly, then spoke to the Director. "This man has been disrespectful to me and the leader of Lezzen Company."

The Director's eyes rounded at Adam's use of the word leader. "Leader? Where is the leader of Lezzen Company?" It was a great honor to know that the leader of Lezzen Company was willing to set foot in this place. 

Adam immediately pointed at Samuel. "He is the leader of Lezzen Company."

Unexpectedly, the Director immediately bowed low before Samuel. "Welcome, sir. We're glad to know that you're here. We should have prepared a lavish welcome." He greeted him kindly. 

But Samuel's face was cold, and his gaze was piercing. "Are you not going to do anything about that man's behavior?"

Samuel's words made him tremble. He didn't want one mistake from Anthonio to ruin everything. With an angry look, he shouted at Anthonio, "What are you waiting for? Quickly apologize to the leader of Lezzen Company."

Anthonio was sweating. He hadn't expected the situation to turn out so badly for him., but he had no choice. With his head bowed, he said, "I'm sorry, Mr. Samuel." His lips trembled as he spoke. 

Samuel didn't want to look at him. He chose to leave and was followed by Adam in silence. 

While Fiona was there, she immediately ran to catch up with her husband. "Samuel, wait." she quickly caught her husband's hand. She smiled widely. She could not hide her admiration at the moment. "Samuel this is really amazing. But how did this happen?"
