Chapter 2

"We are now descending! Prepare!” Blue gave strict orders.

The others just laughed, and down they went to the human world.

Their forms reverted into something like a human form, just in case an unexpected mishap happens.

“Remember to fulfill your tasks in the given time. No mistakes. Understood, Purple?” Blue reminded everyone while looking earnestly at Purple, who is the most likely to encounter trouble.

They parted their ways.

“Come on, Blue. Take it easy on Purple. She might be a lot different from us, but still, she managed to perform her tasks diligently for a long time.” Red tapped Blue’s shoulder to ease the tension.

“Every time I consider getting easy on Purple, she brought nothing but trouble. What if this time, it’s a lot more serious? The consequences are beyond imaginable to endure.” Blue said, not taking his glimpse away from Purple.

“Now, come on then. Still have task waiting, right?”

“Fine, go ahead.”

The night showered a different stroke of light coming from the moon as it hits against the droplets at the tip of the leaves of the towering trees, surrounding the Paradise.

And Purple always found it enthralling. Giggling her way to the docile huts where humans laid asleep after a long day.

Purple hummed her way in the first hut and smiled as she bestowed the gift of a good dream while saying her prayer.

“You did good today. I’m so proud of you.” Purple whispered before leaving.

It was a quick thing but given the number of huts she needed to visit; she really had to be fast.

Unfortunately, while the six were fulfilling their jobs, Purple, on the other hand, encountered trouble.

While she moved through houses, she happened to come across a very strange human.

" As I say my prayer, please bless this human with a good dream. A dream that willremind him to always give praise and thanks to the Creator, to whom he owes his life to. Good... "

" Who are you?" The man asked calmly which interrupted her.

Purple snapped open her eyes and stopped to look deeply at the man whether it was dreaming.

" You can't possibly see me," Purple scoffed.

" Yes, I do," the man repeated.

" It can't be! That is impossible!" Purple exclaimed while she hovered just inches above the man.

" What do you need from me?" he asked again.

Purple then felt an urge to leave the place immediately to ask for help, but she was more shocked when the man grabbed her by the hand to stop her.

"How?" Purple asked, terrified while looking at the hands of the man holding her.

The man stood up from his wooden bed and looked at her intently without letting go of his grip. He looked puzzled and at the same time, fascinated.

The strange view of the two of them, a man standing on a bed holding Purple while she floated in the air, brought shuddering thunder and lightning, like the rage of the heavens poured upon them, forbidding their meeting.

The skies went wild, and the rain poured heavily.

Purple used her strength to get off the man's grip, since strength was not a problem, but to her surprise, with this man's touch, her power weakened. She couldn't even twitch.

“What’s happening? How…what are you? Let go of me.” Purple begged.

“I will let you go, but first, tell me what you are doing inside my hut. You are a strange one.”

She tried to brush him off with some tricks, but she ended up falling. The man tried to catch her, but both tumbled down.

She heaved as the man smiled over her.

"You have strangely beautiful eyes. I have never seen one from any woman." The man said.

A lightning-strike jolted the hut’s roof, destroying almost the entirety of what seems to be some pile of leaves tied on long, sturdy lumbers.

Purple heard the man gasped and immediately enclosed her in his whole body to protect her from the falling debris.

The man grunted as he took on the impact of the crash.

“Why would you do that?” Purple struggled to get up and help the man to get on his feet.

“What? Protecting you?” the man asked as he started dusting away some particles off his clothes.

“Yes,”

“A man should never let a woman get hurt. That is our sole purpose of existing.”

Purple then got distracted as she saw another lightning coming fast, directed to hit the man. She immediately covered her and the man with her wings which ignited a strange aura.

The man’s eye widened in shock, but she knew, she had to act quick to save this man’s life. Such formidable force, no man could withstand to survive a single hit.

This action caused a blast which startled the other six and they immediately knew that Purple was in trouble.

They flew hastily to where the blast came from, and Blue examined the area. Purple was nowhere to be found. Just a broken hut.

All six agreed to go look for Purple and they found her lying by the river covered with so much blood. Beside her was a human.

Blue picked up Purple, while White picked up the human.

"The sun is coming. We must fix everything as soon as possible. That man, he must vanish. No impurities shall exist on Earth. " The Silver Paragon demanded.

" Blue?" Jade asked.

" Go ahead. We must prepare for our Return immediately. " Blue said.

The Six paragons replaced the area with a waterfall. The memory of this man living here would vanish.

After doing all that, they turned to vanish the man, but to their surprise, the power they casted just repelled.

They looked at each other in a great state of shock because they knew that a human could only repel their power if a Paragon branded protection on them.

Their look shifted to Purple; whose bleeding started to stop.

"This man and Purple..." Red said, terrified.

"We have to leave now!" Blue growled.

Jade built a simple house near the falls, removed all memories from the man, and revived his strength. They put him down on the bed and left the Earth.
