At that moment, she began to wish that it was Rhys that was sitting before her, sure, he had never taken her on a date and mostly tested her as a friend when they were together. She wondered how Rhys was like if he truly loved her. Elena was lost in her thought and didn’t hear most of the words that Nathaniel was saying.

“I hope you can forgive me for today, Elena. Some of my work related stuffs were nearly stolen moments ago and I got worried about it.”
