The next day, the lunch date with Nathaniel really started off well but midway, it went south. Elena enjoyed catching up with Nathaniel but soon realized that he had changed a lot, so much that she almost couldn’t recognize him anymore. When he first picked her up and drove her to the restaurant, he was attentive, nice and sweet but midway, he started getting distracted. He would glance at his phone for minutes as if he were expecting some sort of a call or a message.
