She wasn't able to get a better view of what was happening.

Standing on the stool confusedly, looking at the crowd, she could see the crying children now jumping around with the small note on their hands.

Suddenly, she saw a teenager who had just received the unknown note from the young man. The girl started to dance around, raising the note into the air.

"A hundred dollars..." The girl teenager shouted out her lungs as she recognised the dollar amount.

"I heard what happened," William calmly said to Mrs. Marianne. His eyes didn’t flicker toward Bridget, treating her presence as if she were no more than a shadow. "I came to see how she’s doing." In the Hidalgo’s mansion, Thomas sat in his big, expensive, and quiet room as he watched the large TV mounted on the wall. His eyes stayed fixed on the screen, and he did not blink even for a moment. An evil smile slowly spread across his face as he listened to every word. He sat very still, his mind working quickly as he stared at the screen with strong interest. On the TV, the news talked about Catherine. The report said that Catherine had been thrown out of the Kensington family. Thomas watched every detail carefully. He did not miss a single moment of the report. The headline on the screen made him nod slowly with satisfaction over what had happened to her. Thomas reached for his glass cup and took a slow sip of wine. His voice broke the silence as he spoke in a low tone. "Good one," he said with a smirk. He repeated softly, "You think chasing her out of the family will make us change our mind about your family. Well done." Every word was spoken clearly as he enjoyed the t
