Chapter 6~

Alex figured out he was missing another important thing... New wears. So he sped to the boutique to purchase new clothes and shoes. He walked in, glaring around the big room, there were many fancy wears that caught his attention.

He walked towards the table of the cashier. "I need new suits and shoes."

"I'm sorry, sir, you shouldn't be here." She said, throwing him a disgusted look.

"Excuse me?"

"Yes, you heard me right. You are not meant to be here." She repeated.

Alex frowned, why would she look down on him because of his appearance? "Seriously, do I have to repeat myself again? Or is the fact that you are so dumb?"

"This is the fact that you are not supposed to be here."

"Are you here for your business, or are you just going to keep staring at people's outfits? Besides, isn't it the money you want?" He queried. "If you don't want to sell it to me, then I'll have to meet with your boss."

"My boss won't even attend to losers like you are. Perhaps, your type shouldn't be here, do I sound foreign to you or what? You have to leave this place immediately, your type should be purchasing from the less privileged stores." The other workers laughed.

This very word hit Alex to the core, he expressed his anger with a frown. "Is this the attitude they trained you for? To talk to customers however you want?"

"I'm just doing my job, Mr."

"No, this isn't your job. Your job is to attend to me and give me what I want rather than embarrassing yourself. After all, I doubt you're the owner of the store, which of course you can't even afford the clothes you are putting on. So, spare me the attitude." He threw the words at her, causing the workers who had previously laughed at him to gasp.

"You..." She was going to say a word to him when the entrance door opened.

"What's going on here?" A young lady walked in with a guy behind her. Alex assumed her to be the owner of the store by merely looking at her appearance.

"This young gentleman has refused to leave this place. He demands he wants suits and shoes."

The young lady glared at Alex up and down, a look of disappointment stained her face. "How may we help you, gentleman?" She asked.

"She already told you what I need, I don't think I have to repeat myself again."

"Well, I'm certain she didn't explain this place to you. But, we do not sell cheap clothes here, but if that is what you desire, then you need to meet those roadside stores to purchase the clothes you need."

"Is this how you operate here? To look down on people? Look, I'm not here to exchange words or have some uninterested prolonged conversation with either of you, I just need my demand and I will leave this place immediately."

She felt Alex was incapable of affording a suit, and it would be a disgrace to her business for anyone to see such a tattered gentleman like him walk into the store.

She saw the seriousness in his eyes, she decided to ask. "What type of suit do you want to buy?"

"I'll love to see what brand you sell." He said, demanding he should be taken around to see what brand they sell and probably pick any of his choices.

The young lady asked one of the workers to take him around. Alex glared at the different tuxedos in the room, he had a few which captivated his eyes. Surprisingly, he picked the most expensive tuxedo.

The young lady was shocked, "Sir, that tuxedo cost five thousand dollars."

"I saw the writing, I ain't blind." He said rudely. "I need five of them, and six pairs of shoes and two hats." The young lady didn't say a word, knowing within herself that he wouldn't be able to pay the bills when the total amount is thrown at him.

The cashier looked at the young lady. "Are you dumb, did you even tell him how much all these cost?"

"I did." Alex just stared at the two ladies as they whispered among themselves.

"Your card, please." She requested and he gave her his card.

"Tessa, I need you to check the amount of sales you made this morning." The boss said as she walked out of her office, but paused seeing as Tessa was busily calculating the clothes and shoes Alex had purchased.

She used that opportunity to see the outcome, if Alex would be able to pay the bills for everything. Meanwhile, Tessa was marveled to see the golden inscription on his bank card. She looked at him but didn't say a word.

The transaction went successfully in a second which even shocked not only her, but the boss. Those were about thirty thousand dollars!

He took his items with him, heading for his car. The young lady walked up to Tessa. "Let me see the transaction receipt." She demanded.

Tessa showed the receipt to her and it was successful. She looked out of the glassy window, watching as Alex dropped his items into the backseat. She wondered what type of person he was. He seemed mysterious to her. For someone to have such an amount of money in his bank account, yet, looking like a wretched man.
