CHAPTER THIRTEEN

"Hello, Franklin." Mr Miles said over the phone.

Franklin was shocked. He had not heard his father's voice for over 5 years now.

"Hi, dad!"

They spoke for more than an hour, and Franklin pledged to return home.

"Goodnight.”

Franklin began packing his belongings, preparing to return home the next day. After packing, he brought his snacks outdoors and stood along the shore. The moonlight had shone on the water, creating a gray and blue hue.

The sound of the waves gave life to the serene night. He felt at peace, after speaking with his father. He knew he had failed him, but he was ready to return and make him proud.

He sat on the bench, and thought of ways to make his company become the leading organization in the country. He needed to know his rivals-the company that was competing with him.

He took out his phone, and dialed Mr Russell's number.

"Don't you know when is night, and when is day, you silly boy?" He grunted.

"Men don't sleep," Franklin muttered so low that his uncle could not
